Andrew McCabe was offered a pre-indictment plea agreement and turned it down. So US attorney Durham has impaneled a grand jury.
Exactly! This "overthrow-the-government" bench has a deep bench (although it may ultimately be shown to be as clumsy as the Keystone Cops). The South didn't even attempt to overthrow the U.S. government.

Everybody gets a plea agreement offer. They plead guilty, they get a reduced sentence, it saves time and expense. Guess his sentence wasn’t reduced enough to suit him.

When offered the choice between 20 years,or 5, by the prosecutor at least one lawyer will tell his client "20 means 18,5 means 3. Take the 3".
Durham is based in Connecticut. I would assume the grand jury his uses would be there, too.

Levin’s the one who usually rants about how reference to unidentified “sources” means nothing and should be relied on.
If this is true, then there are two possibilities. Either Durham has doesn’t have shit and he’s trying to stampede McCabe into making a deal, OR Durham has the goods on him and McCabe is holding out for a better deal. I would think the latter.

As one criminal defense lawyer I knew explained, mobsters are easier to represent than white-collar defendants because mobsters know they are criminals and recognize when a plea deal is worth taking. White-collar defendants and their families resist accepting a good plea deal even when criminal misconduct is clear. My lawyer friend sometimes hired a felon who got a psychology degree in prison to counsel white-collar defense clients and their families about the need to accept a plea deal despite the shame and loss of status involved. Even then, many gambled on their chances at trial.
Plea-deal probably included a public “leak” he refused to accept a plea-deal.

I on the other hand remember when Mark Levin said 2017-2018 and earlier “No, there isn’t going to be an investigation of the investigators so stop calling about that. Only the Trump side will be prosecuted.”
Levin was bored with callers saying it in unjust to allow the left to persecute Trump and Manfort,Flynn,Papadoupolos and the rest but no one can stop Mueller and his gang.
He merely said there will never be an investigation of Obama,Hillary and Comey and the others setting up a coup against Trump. It was depressing. Then.
