Andrew McCabe was offered a pre-indictment plea agreement and turned it down. So US attorney Durham has impaneled a grand jury.

Geez again with the plea deals? They give them out like candy to the connected.

Mark Levin reporting* (from what he describes as a very good source) that Andy McCabe was offered a pre-indictment plea agreement by John Durham. McCabe turned it down & Durham then moved to empanel a grand jury.

McCabe is smart. He won’t even have his reserved parking revoked.
McCabe is hoping for the Deep State to come to his rescue, or for a friendly (i.e. Dem) judge or jury nullification.
I assume the plea deal involved McCabe flipping on others.

Possibly those he’d have to flip on are too dangerous
And so it begins.
Consider where the trial would probably be: 90% Democrat Washington DC.
He may have a change of heart if he opts for a trial and has to stand before a jury outside DC. 10 years in prison and a hefty six figure fine have a way of focusing the mind.
McCabe can pay Flynn type legal fees. Make my day.
Don’t know about the rest of a jury pool, but nothing would endear me less in evaluating a defendant than the smirk that appears to be a permanent fixture on that cork-smokers face.
Where would the trial be? There are some jury pools that wouldn’t convict him if he murdered Trump in cold blood.
No! The arrogance is deep into the megalomaniacal region...similar to the hildabeest. NONE of these people will EVER admit that they did anything wrong! And the NEVER Trumpers are their “character” witnesses!
