The FBI has had a rough go of it—and it’s entirely their fault. Its former director, James Comey, decided to leak the contents of his meetings to a friend with instructions to turn them over to The New York Times in the hopes of launching a special counsel probe. Mission accomplished. And the Department of Justice’s inspector general raked him over the coals for deviating from a long-standing policy on this front.
Former FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok was one of the key people who signed off on the initial investigation into Trump-Russia collusion supposedly in July of 2016. Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page, with whom he was having an extramarital affair, exchanged tens of thousands of texts—the vast majority of which were anti-Trump. It embarrassed the FBI’s image of integrity and impartiality, especially when it was handling two of the most politically sensitive investigations in recent memory: Russian collusion and Hillary Clinton’s email server. The two were worried that the bureau was going too hard on the former first lady. There’s the discussion of the “insurance policy” that they had with Andrew McCabe, the former deputy director of the bureau who like Comey, was fired for cause. He had lied to investigators about leaking sensitive information to The Wall Street Journal.

I think the whole point of the Susan Rice email-to-herself-as-she-was-walking-out-the-door was to explain that she lied to the Trump campaign about various security matters (including the fact that the Steele dossier was paid for by Hillary) because Obama told her to withhold such damaging information.
The FBI is rotten to the core.
Disband it and the CIA, too.
This is why I truly believe there is ultimately going to be a major sh!t-storm in D.C. over the 2016 election debacle.
Right now, I would invite a child molester or an arsonist to spend a night in my home before I would spend even 30 seconds speaking to an FBI agent. I'm sure I'm not alone in this, and I'm sure people like President Trump and AG William Barr know damn well that that the legal foundations of this country are going to collapse unless something dramatic is done to fix this.
Did Comey have legal to right to leak? If not, why no prosecution?
The public has the power to force this organization to reform - if it chooses to use it.
All the FBI and the CIA top brass have to undergo a deep deep cleansing. They really outlived their use by dates and smell to high heaven of corruption and mendacity.

I’m with you on that.....bravo!! Just looking at that gnome Christopher Wray and his holding FOIA’s from Judicial Watch which is probably the only HONEST organization in that cesspool makes me sick!! The CIA should have never gone on for as long as it has.......especially now since the leftist subversives have taken over so many government departments in government!

And this was put to rest earlier this year quite a few times...now they are repeating again for the third or fourth time over and over again because they can’t get anything to stick to the wall because there isn’t anything but the loony libs own corruption!!!
The FBI is eventually going to pay a price for their active participation in an attempted coup because many average people, like you and I will have zero interest in cooperating with them for any reason. Frankly, my interest in helping anyone from the government, pretty much at any level at all is now pretty minimal. They may get my name out of me, but that's about it. Screw the entire bunch of them.I can honestly say that I have never had a single interaction with a government official that didn't end up with them trying to screw me over in one way or another. Unless I absolutely have to, I want nothing at all to do with them.
