The Washington Nationals on Friday announced that local chef and vocal President Trump critic José Andrés will throw out the first pitch if there is a Game 5 of the World Series.
The president could be in attendance to see Andrés throw the first pitch. Trump told reporters Thursday that he plans to attend Game 5 if it is needed, joking that he would need “a lot of heavy armor” if he was to throw out the first pitch.

I wouldn’t assume their motivation in inviting this chef is to diss Trump.
But will they refuse to go to the White House when/if they win?
MLB has done alot to skirt the politicization.

No, they did it to ensure that ICE will raid every one of this Spaniard’s restaurants. Odds are good that they’ll find illegals. If not, the harassment factor will be worth it anyway.

DC is a “company town” with an abundance of negativity toward Trump. I would wager that 80+% of the National’s fans are Dems.
Bet he gets a big cheer when introduced.
Look folks, an ill planned gig like this only strengthens POTUS, Trump more. And...if the National fans boo and jeer Trump....it will strengthen him even more. Shucks, Trump snaps his fingers, and 53,000 people show up at his rallies. Democrat, Joe Biden snaps his fingers and a massive 59 people show up at his rallies!!!
Oh I would - they live and breathe Trump-hate. I mean the guy cooks food for a living - a worthy line of work, but he's not exactly a combat veteran.
Doesn't look good for the Astros...only 3 teams have lost the first two World Series games at home and then won the Series.
All I want is for Texas to win one game now to stretch this series to five games so Trump can be there.

President Trump should invite José Andrés to be a guest chef along with the invitation to the Nationals (if they win). Exposing a twofer of ignorance if they refuse, and showing Mr. Trump’s love foe all Americans if they accept.
This chef is a lib, but he has done remarkable work feeding people after hurricanes in PR and Bahamas. I imagine that is why he’s been invited.
