Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is planning to introduce a resolution condemning the House Democrats' impeachment inquiry process, and argued that any articles should be dismissed in the Senate without a trial.
"This resolution puts the Senate on record condemning the House. ...Here's the point of the resolution: Any impeachment vote based on this process, to me, is illegitimate, is unconstitutional, and should be dismissed in the Senate without a trial," Graham told Fox News's Sean Hannity.

“What the senate should do is subpoena every witness the house does for the day after their house interview. Make it open and in public. Take the narrative away from Pelosi and Schiff.”
I think that just plays into Pelosi’s hand. The more the GOP complain about the process, the more legitimate impeachment becomes in the eyes of the public. Pelosi only needs to turn a baker’s dozen GOP in the Senate. I could count them out right now.
No, for once I think Graham is on to something. Put a stop sign in front of the Senate NOW!
Re your post EXACTLY! Graham started out great during Clinton’s impeachment but became too friendly with McCain.
Hasn’t been a true Conservative since. He has the authority to call the same people to testify as shitt.
“He has the authority to call the same people to testify as shitt.”
You’re forgetting one thing ... the MSM will be the ones to decide what, if anything, the American public gets to see and hear. The GOP can stand in front of mikes all day long, but if it doesn’t make the 6:00 pm news cycle, it doesn’t get heard.
tonight on hannity graham said the Senate should refuse to consider an illegal House impeachment referral, namely one that is being held in secret and does not give the GOP and Trump the right to defend themselves in the House ... i suspect that graham’s resolution is to set the stage for such an action ...
Could this go as far as a sternly worded warning letter?
Maybe some harsh language and stern looks too?
In fact the Dems DO NOT WANT a Senate trial. Such a trial would open discovery to all manner of Democrat chicanery. They believe they are hurting Trump with their incessant bloviating.
Exposing ouse Democrat deceit with open hearings questioning the identical people being interviewed behind closed doors would effectively end the process. The Senate needs to go to war against the renegade House.
Rs CONDEMN, Ds CONVICT.
I bet he is planning more letters, since he was called out by Tucker Carson for all talk and no action.
So basically a sternly worded letter. I bet Pelosi and Company are just quaking in their boots. /sarc
No sale, Grahamnesty. Youve been outed long ago. ...as a globalist swamp rat. Only the gullible buy your facade now.
Whoa...did a testicle drop?
I think he should open his own inquiry about the FISA warrants!! Like he said he would..
He can call up the witnesses that Schiff is calling. That’s what the poster is referring to. You’re trying to refute the wrong argument.
He must be listening to Mark Levin for a change.
Mitch would be happy to stand up for any Republican president. Just not Trump... Because Mitch is a petty old fool and he hates Trump, just like he hated the Tea party..
Ya freakin twist in the wind fairy.
Whiny is right. Lots of defeatism on these threads.
