Trump Needs Our Help to Bring Them Home
Vanity

Posted on 10/22/2019 12:37:20 AM PDT by Farcesensitive

The warmongers are pulling out all the stops opposing Trump's attempts to fulfill his promise to bring the troops home and end the endless wars.

They are making noises about supporting the Demoncrats' impeachment sham to pressure him to fold or compromise with them to keep their support.

Other than opposing impeachment the best way we can support Trump and strengthen his hand is to make "Bring Them Home" the focus of 2020, we need to "pressure" Trump to keep that promise and really pressure the Republicans (particularly in the Senate) and not let up until significant withdrawals have been made and wars ended.

We need to leave Syria completely as soon as it is clear ISIS won't be coming back, we need to just leave Afghanistan whether the Afghan government likes it or not and we need to leave every NATO "ally" that doesn't meet its obligations and pay for the costs of our presence. (It would be best to just leave NATO entirely but I don't know if Trump can manage that before Nov. 2020) And the troops need to come all the way home.

I don't know how much of that Trump can do in the next year or so but even just some of it that will be a victory and help ensure his reelection and a Red wave while exposing the leftists as warmongers and hypocrites.

“We need to leave Syria completely as soon as it is clear ISIS won’t be coming back...

How do you determine that?”

When they don’t have a significant presence and the locals are ready to secure the area.

“ISIS,Al Qaeda,Muslim Brotherhood what’s in a name? They will always keep coming back as they have for 1400 yrs. It’s the foundation of Islam and to think otherwise is incredibly short sighted and naive.”

If you are arguing that we should just leave then I won’t argue against you, I was just accepting what Trump has said he is going to do which is a phased withdrawal designed to keep the worst people from taking advantage of us “leaving a vacuum”.

“The neo-isolationists finally noticed Trump is not bringing the troops home.”

America First isn’t isolationism and Trump IS bringing the troops home as he can:

The United States has pulled out 2,000 troops from Afghanistan over the past year, leaving just over 12,000 in the country, according to the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, The Washington Post reported Oct. 21.

https://worldview.stratfor.com/situation-report/afghanistan-us-has-been-reducing-presence-over-past-year-commander-says

The number of active-duty U.S. military troops stationed overseas has dipped below 200,000 for the first time in at least 60 years.
Total US Troop deployment overseas -
September 2017: 215,249
September 2018: 172,797
June 2019 (latest): 177,104

I see your Washington Post and raise you with The Pentagon:

Pentagon: Since May, U.S. forces have increased in Middle East by ~14,000: statement. There are currently more than 60,000 U.S. troops deployed to various countries and aboard warships— Lucas Tomlinson (@LucasFoxNews) October 11, 2019

You are perhaps aware President Trump recently announced 1,800+ personnel to Saudi Arabia?

Explain America First to me again.

There is only one solution to Islam. Kill them all but since the West doesn't have the resolve then we must hem them up in their sandbox and encourage them to slaughter each other. All the soulless animals in the middleeast are not worth a single American life.

ALLAH = SATAN!!

and Mohamed is the anti-Christ.

America First doesn't mean America Alone, son:

In a series of tweets this weekend, Trump indicated that Iran is behind the recent attack on Saudi oil facilities and that the United States will respond after hearing from the Saudi government “under what terms we would proceed.”

To be consistent, you need to start referring to President Trump as "warmonger".

McConnell is a buffoon who is in the pocket of the MIC.

I don’t agree with that move but Trump is doing his best to balance placating his political allies in order to stay in office with bringing the troops home as best he can.

And he made them pay us for the protection which is an improvement over being their patsy for nothing.

Trump is avoiding wars and he has Pakistan mediating between Iran and the Saudis.

He can’t change US policy overnight or he will be thrown out of office and everything he is trying to do will be reversed.

LOL

Trump isn’t a dictator and the RINOs have the power to do as they keep threatening to do and back impeachment.

Trump isn’t anyone’s patsy, he’s a pragmatic politician who knows how to make progress in the face of opposition.

Pakistan, the country that was hiding Osama bin Laden and supports the Taliban.
That Pakistan?

Yes, a fit choice to mediate between the Saudis and the Iranians.

And one of the few countries that both will talk to who will also talk to us.

Pragmatic politician, like claiming to bring the troops home and then a few days later insert 1,800.

In other words, never.
