PITTSBURGH - In preparation for President Donald Trump’s visit to Downtown Pittsburgh on Oct. 23, the city announced some security measures that will impact a lot of people.
Several streets surrounding the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, where Trump will speak at the Shale Insight conference, will be closed Wednesday after the morning rush hour – that will likely cause heavy delays during the evening commute.
The conference is open to the public. People can register for a free general admission pass, on a first-come, first-served, basis.

I have to admit that whether it was a president I loved or hated, I HATED when they came to NYC when I was commuting from Staten Island to The World Trade Center.
Then the UBS building.
Then the World Financial Center.
Then Rockefeller Plaza.
...I jumped around a little in the beginning :)
Executive security is always a pain in the hindmost parts for local emergency responders but at least with the sitting POTUS and ViPOTUS the Feds pick up the tab.
Next year will be a different story: The DemoKKKrats are “supposed to” reimburse the locals for overtime, etc, but rotsa ruck getting them to pay up.
It would be smart to get a down payment up front!!

Suggestions needed- my dad has surgery that day in the St. Claire...they are coming from Pittsburgh airport . They are trying to establish an alternate route maybe thru Bridgeville. Any suggestions at all concerning when they should leave to head that direction (surgery scheduled early afternoon) ?

I think he should do rallies in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Berkeley, Las Vegas, Seattle and Portland just to show the Democrats that there are Trump supporters everywhere.
I live near Pittsburgh. Can’t attend due to work, but I think opening this to the public is a big mistake. The libs and anarchists are gearing up for protests, and I think they will try to disrupt the conference. Hope I am wrong.
I, for one am hoping that many folks in the Pittsburgh area & surrounding states, turn out in massive numbers to show their support & loyalty to our great POTUS, Donald J. Trump!!! We shall see as tomorrow rolls in!!!
