Exactly. I never got a job from a poor man.

If they think “deplorables” aren’t college-educated, they have no idea.

However, it doesn’t take much education to determine Democrats are just radiating almost-constant BS these days.

I find it so interesting how the paradigm has totally flipped over between the two idiologies.

It hasn’t totally flipped. You think Mitch McConnell supports the interests of working people?

The return of the Whig Party.

Was thinking the same. We just had a bunch of “Republicans” in the Senate undermining the MAGA agenda they were elected to support and are voting with the Democrats. The GOP looks pretty much the same to me, unfortunately. The voters spoke and elected Trump. The GOPe doesn’t care one bit and is carrying on like Trump doesn’t even exist.

Trump can take over the party but it needs a name change....

GOP is disliked by a lot of people on this site...for what they did not do and are not doing now....

With a name change we can make the Trump themes front and center...
No illegal immigration...you can not do that if you keep the GOP name..

Same way with no more wars...unless we have a General Patton..

I am a Trump Republican.

Yes, so am I, and so are most rank and file Republicans.

I have NO USE for Republicans who DON’T support President Trump!

Well, they are not Republicans, but in name only. They proved this by not supporting many long stated traditional GOP positions, when presented by The President.

Until they are replaced, and they absolutely should be, they have only one value...that letter "R" after their name, which is merely a nose count for the majority status and control of the committees.

Other than that, we don't need their kind.

GET EM OUT!!!

The new MAGA Party works for me.

That’s my preference as well.

I became a proud Deplorable officially in April 2016 so that I could vote for Trump in my state’s primary.

I had been a registered RAT for 38 years but am now only supporting my POTUS and those wise GOPers who stand with him.

“If they think “deplorables” aren’t college-educated, they have no idea.”

I couldn’t believe the comment about college educated in the article. The WSJ author has to be retarded. Any independent thinker with an IQ over room temperature can’t vote Democrat. It is sad there really isn’t any choice.

You know, the really good thing about this is the name change kind of solidifies the party that Trump has transformed the GOP into.

And why try to set up a new party? That’s fraught with danger. Better to change the name. And then all the baggage that the Dems have pushed on the Republican label falls away.

People who are Dems may never want to join a Republican party, but a Worker’s Party or America Greatness Party. Whatever. They can move to something like that. It’s new and so we capture that dynamism. Let the wordsmiths go to work on the idea.

And as for an animal symbol, why not an American animal such as the mountain lion or grizzly bear — a NFL style name that Joe Six Pack American can be proud to adopt as his own :-)

What do you think,V K and HarleyLady?

I love when the Leftists think they’re insulting Trump, and it’s exactly what he should be doing, and he and we are all very happy to hear the good news.

True but many of the grads are in post industrial occupations, finance, info tech, the arts. They have little interest in following into the family life footsteps of Trump supporters. Marriage, kids, even sutos are not high on their list.

Great to hear, Edie!

Actually, though I was a Republican my entire voting life, it was Trump who taught me that the Dems and Repubs had evolved into the Uniparty.

So like you, it feels like I joined a new party! Go Trump!

As I see it the rats USED to be the party of working people until Clintons arrived and dismissed “deplorables” aka the “Forgotten” so Trump saw the gap and ran into it.

Hillary owns this all by herself. Bill was never like that, and in fact, tried to warn Hillary about it, but was all but ignored by her campaign staff. His instincts were correct on the issue. But, that pretty much insured her loss, to the benefit of our country. Her recent rants about Russian infiltrators and agents shows how insane and demented she really is.

I think we now have four major parties in US: the Country Club Republicans, the Republicans, the Liberal Party and the Leftist Party.

...the Left will retreat ...
_________
while it’s been decades & decades since I was any sort of D party member, and while I no longer really know these people, I do hear things now and again.

The progs never change. In reaction to anything that frightens them, they form groups, make lists and ask everyone to share their resources with each other.

In practice, this means small group organization, lists of personal resources and expertise and then everyone requests, aka demands, *help* and assistance from those who admit to having resources and expertise.

Ironically, if anyone NOT under their collective thumb volunteers to educate or exchange equal value help, the response is a hairy eyeball and palpable disengagement.

It always fails because one of the qualifiers is “people just like us, only”.

They cannibalize each other and stand around pointing fingers if anyone demurs. This causes the groups to shrink, before falling apart, and increases the paranoia within their ranks.

My last exposure to this was about 5 years ago in a chance public encounter. As we left, we marveled to each other that the experience felt exactly like a reprise of 1970s ‘Back To The Land’ encounter. everyone signs up to take and no one really wants to give anything without profiting.
