Washington Post ^ | October 19 2019 | Colby Itkowitz

There are fresh battles lines in the 2020 presidential campaign, reflecting an unpredictable rivalry between two Democratic politicians — one who isn’t even running this cycle and another who is polling at barely 1 percent.

Hillary Clinton suggested this week that current primary contender Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii is being used by the Russians, ...

It's just another "pass the popcorn" moment, unless the spectator is a NeverTrumper. This sidebar, isn't it adorable, Van Jones concerned about accusations with no facts behind them?

Gotta give credit where it’s due. Van Jones is so off base usually but he had the decency to be present in the Oval Office and give President Trump words of affirmation and support during the signing of prison reform.

Popcorn is great. I have literally gone to the grocery store to get a box of microwave popcorn simply because a popcorn meme on FR sparked my craving. LoL

That being said...all I know about 2020 is...I don’t want a nailbiter election.

That may be asking too much! Ahh!

Here’s an hypothesis. hillary despises attractive women. BC is probably really getting lusty thoughts about guiding Tulsi as the first female Pres. It’s possible hillary went over-the-top nuts, kind of like the witch that melted in the Wizard of Oz.

Gabbard called for President Trump to be investigated, not to be impeached. She’s keeping in Constitutional.

Gabbard called for President Trump to be investigated, not to be impeached.

Well, if Clinton asked for it, then let's investigate if Gabbard is a Russian spy.

If the WP is writing about it, it must be. Clinton set up. Is Hillary going to pass her broom to a young, pretty Gabbard?

So true about Sharpton. And Van Jones has to stay employed by CNN so yeah.

I think Steve's right, two weeks. The grifter gang from Arkansas doesn't care what happens to CNN.

Would you like to be investigated, just because the prosecutor does not like you or your family?

Would you consider that fair and reasonable?

Should we “wait before the facts are in” before reaching judgement on your alleged crimes?

See how “reasonable” works?

Of course I wouldn't like to be investigated and wouldn't want my family under constant criticism and investigation. What I'm saying is that the ones on stage who are saying investigate the situation aren't the total crazies who would storm the houses and lock up conservatives. An objective investigation (not infiltrated by deep state sympathizers) would show that President Trump was absolutely correct in demanding that Ukraine stop the massive corruption there.

It's clear what happened. President Trump got too close to the fire. A whole lot of bad that influences US politics and everything else can be found in Ukraine.

You are still not “getting it”.

This is not about the Ukraine.

Ukraine is just an excuse.

The Deep State creates narratives.

That is what they do—it is called disinformation.

If disinformation was spread about you—you would not be very sympathetic to those who wanted to “investigate” the false accusations.

You would expect reasonable people to understand the full context of the situation (the prosecutor has a grudge against you and your family) and have your back.

Tulsi’s position is _not_ acceptable—and the rest of the lunatic Democrats throwing excrement at Trump does not make it any more acceptable.

I’ll respectfully disagree. It is about Ukraine. That whole situation has been despicable since the US (Obama administration) first ginned up regime change there. It’s where an investigation would make crystal clear how closely our foreign policy is tied to politicians enriching friends, relatives, and deep-pocket donors.

I won’t continue this endlessly—but our foreign policy is tied to politicians enriching friends, relatives, and deep-pocket donors _everywhere_ around the world.

The Deep State could have thrown a dart at a map of the world and picked a country to become their “cause celebre” of the day.

There is a difference between a _reason_ for something and an _excuse_ for something.

Think about your own life—haven’t you ever been falsely accused of anything by a nasty person? The sociopath’s playbook is always the same.

That’s the democratic way. You just make accusations. Who needs any facts?

Thanks, but I'll pass. For one thing, I'll have to check it from a different machine, and that involves climbing stairs.
