Chick-fil-A opened its first location in the United Kingdom in early October.
A little more than a week later, the British shopping center leasing the location has already said it will not extend the restaurant’s six-month lease, BBC reported Friday.
The Oracle shopping center in Reading faced pressure from a local LGBTQ rights group, Reading Pride, according to the BBC.

Us too. There is one right next to the Cancer Center my husband goes to - always, always jammed, night and day. Went the other day for breakfast and had to park several blocks away.
We thought it was because the Chick-fil-A had just opened but it has been several years now and it’s still doing incredible business, cars are lined up down the block to get in - better business than the local In-n-out. Local DJ was going on about the mac ‘n cheese at the local Chick-Fil-A so we can’t wait to get over there today for our family get together.
They have nothing to trade anyway. Divided Chavdom only lives due to corrupt foreign money in their banking and high end real estates. BoJo the clown is to target these corupt money next. I see the future of UK as a trailer park in the middle of Muslim ghetto.
I went to a neat one in Auburn, AL - nicest people you’d ever want to meet and too, inside was okay but two lanes of cars going through the drive-thru plus it was a dark and stormy day!

Everyone might prepare chips and fried fish. They are more known for huggis and oatmeal.
If it doesn’t close immediately, I’d love to see the decent people around that community absolutely invade the place as a hoard, to express their displeasure at the destruction of this business’ freedom of speech.
Why should we stand still for this sort of nonsense?
