Report–George W. Bush: Trump’s ‘Isolationist’ America Is ‘Dangerous’ for Global Peace
Breitbart ^ | Oct. 16, 2019 | John Binder

Former President George W. Bush, who led the United States into war across the Middle East, attacked President Trump on Wednesday night, saying U.S. intervention is necessary “for the sake of peace” around the globe.

During a panel alongside former President Bill Clinton at the Nir School of the Heart, Bush laid into Trump for his recent decision to withdraw up to 1,000 American troops from northeast Syria — fulfilling his longheld campaign promise to bring troops home after more than a decade of war.

“An isolationist United States is destabilizing around the world,” Bush said, according to the Washington Post‘s Josh Rogin. “We are becoming isolationist and that’s dangerous for the sake of peace.”

Did you actively engage in pro terrorist propagandizing while we had troops in combat?

It is not the job of the USA to sacrifice our own to keep peoples who have hated each other for hundreds of years from continuing to hate each other and fight each other.

The Turks and the Syrian Kurds have been going at each other for a very long time. This fact has no bearing on the USA. We should not insert ourselves into their feud.

I cannot recall him doing it.

As for being dangerous for peace, it's George W. Bush who turned out to be dangerous for peace. We keep on paying for the mess he created.

Yeah, much safer for America to be constantly involved in wars.

Still not enough American blood and treasure tributes to the “Globe” after the Bush/Clinton/Bush/Obama years, eh Dubya? Poor George W, he can’t help it - he was born with a silver spoon up his nose.

Or he could have had Saddam assassinated and then do as you said.

There were no mass weapons in Iraq. Dubya and all the congress critters wanted to take advantage of 9-11-01 to get rid of a joker that never should have given the power they gave him.

Dubya’s Dad had him in the crosshairs during the invasion of Kuwait but they let him go.

The intelligence community swore Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and I, innocent citizen tired of the scarey Saddam who never should have been allowed to go on, believed and supported.

Handled awful, from beginning till now.

AND EIGHTEEN YEARS IN AFGHANISTAN???

No excuse.

Let the heathens fight amongst themselves.

Make those who need pay for military contractors to come in and help.

And our congress critters are now taking all kinds of bribes and let me say it again...

EIGHTEEN YEARS IN AFGHANISTAN???

“Did you support the Iraq war at the time?”

Yes, and events have proven me wrong. We need to learn from our mistakes.

And from this statement, we concur Dubya approved of ALL BO's shenanigans around the globe? The cowboy is such a disappointment. That white hat, once worn, is now filthy with muddy boot prints. Fallen off his white stallion, his backers wasted no time in making them.

Do believe his silence is more preferred than his 'wisdom', (or should it be said, his papa's wisdom?) Those points of light? One point should be aimed right to his keister now that he's no longer riding in the saddle.
AMERICANS are NOT lab rats. DO NOT treat US as such.

I forget when I first posted this, but I save it in my files for memory sake.

By fishtank...updated Dec. 6, 2006

Here’s what a “conservative” is supposed to be?

* Doing his very best to destroy American sovereignty by melding America into Mexico into Canada???

* George W. Bush (43): “I looked the man in the eye. I was able to get a sense of his soul.
I knew that President Putin was a man with whom I could work.”

* Did nothing when his wife called a homosexual partner’s mom the “mother-in-law” ???

* Allowed the new Iraqi constitution to have a clause where no law would contradict Islam.

* Wanted to sell US port operations to Dubai - a nation that supports terror.

* Advocates a completely open border - to the detriment of national security.

* Calls the Minutemen “vigilantes”.

* Continually calls Islam a “religion of peace”.

* Pursues “free trade”, not fair trade. “Free trade” has not been very fair, so far.

* Supported Specter over Toomey.

* Told Hush to host Specter with softballs, and then Hush carries the water.

* Continually supported Linc Chaffee, and what did it win in the long run?

* Let Ted Kennedy write the education bill.

* Did nothing to rein in pork barrel government spending.

* In an exclusive interview with ABC News’ Charles Gibson, Bush said he believes that both Christians and Muslims worship the same God. “I think we do. We have different routes of getting to the Almighty,” Bush said.
