Heard audio of reporter interviewing people that were in line yesterday. Reporter was asking people why they were there. One woman said “we can say God again” another said “this is a movement”.

The 2020 election will be one to remember, I think. I love our president, but personally don’t have the time to wait two days to see him. Still, it’s easy to see that his base totally loves him, and will turn out again for him.
My bet is that we win the house again and grow in the Senate. I know that the GOP majority didn’t exactly trip over themselves to help POTUS during his first two years, but at least a new GOP majority can push a good deal of his agenda through to his desk and stop the ridiculous push for an impeachment.
Oh, to have a hot dog/coffee/pretzel/soda push cart for these events...

President Trump is as popular or more popular for his base than Ronald Reagan was due to the polarized political climate. When Ronald Reagan died I still remember how surprised the talking heads of the MSM were that Americans lined up to pay respects and they went to the capital dome is in their millions to view Regan. While Ronald Reagan was still President the press openly mocked him, called him stupid, reckless, and bumbling - just like they do to President Trump today.
