Its political retribution and its a bill of attainder. Democrats do what Democrats do.

But Democratic presidential pardons are likely still gold and untouchable.

I predict this will boomerang on NY liberals. These type of vindictive laws always do. Trump was able to fill so many judicial picks because Tom Daschle was the first senator to filibuster judicial nominations, Harry Reid employed the nuclear option, and Joe Biden employed the Biden rule that worked against Merrick Garland.

Weaponized government. It’s what the founders feared.

Cuomo? Cuomo?
Isn’t this the guy who just used the word “nigger” on TV the other day?
Maybe I’m wrong. Nope. I’m not. He did.

Until he needs one when his corruption is found out.

Just like writing a law targeting an individual or company, this is unconstitutional.
I’m sure the GOP-e will get right on this.... /LOL

Hi.
If true, that would be considered an ex post facto law and a Bill of Attainder.
The Cuomo Klan are like Sadaam Hussein, despots.

California and New York. Book-ends.
Gulags had more going for them than these two states politically.
Both are on paths of financial devastation and social upheaval.
Fly-over country should think twice before bailing their butts out again when the time comes.

I can't wait to hear the Democratic pigs squeal when this law is used against them. Remind me about all those felons and drug dealers pardoned by Obama and Clinton.
To: yesthatjallen
Could this be considered an “ex post facto” law? I'm not a lawyer so I don't know. If it is it's unconstitutional.
To: yesthatjallen
Cuomos own lettres de cachet , letters signed by the king of France that were orders to enforce often arbitrary judgments that could not be appealed.

This will be easy since it is explicitly stated in the U.S. Constitution... Of course so is the use of gold and silver coinage in Art 1 - Sec 10.
