You are expecting a lot from the guy who twisted himself into a pretzel to rewrite and save Obamacare.
Whether it's talkies, TV, the end of the studio system, the 'Net killing print, etc, as peak saturation occurs from over-exposure to 24/7 manufactured crises, how are (social) media companies gonna make a $ buck?
Perhaps the next tech wave is rapidly advancing in both medical sciences and computing. Maybe AI and VR will offer the "next big thing" as everyone becomes entirely bored to death by the endless, breathless, invented 'breaking' news.
So she can just change the rules then. No problem.
The Democrats control the House. They can make up any rules they want if they have the votes to do that. Obviously, they do not have the votes. Yet.
They are all looking at the end of their political careers no matter what course of action they choose. I would expect they will choose the most destructive path available.
She said no vote is required so she is not calling for one. To do so would be to force RAT house members to take a stand for or against impeachment which would hurt their re-election chances.
Most of their idiot constituency likely think the impeachment is happening even now. The very last thing Pelosi wants to happen is for Republicans to have subpoena power in an impeachment, which they would have if a vote were to happen.
They will lose the vote and have to end the process.

The Committee formulates Articles of Impeachment which could contain multiple counts. The Committee votes on the Articles of Impeachment and the results of the vote are reported to the House as a whole. The matter is then referred to the whole House which debates the matter and votes on the Articles of Impeachment, which may or may not be changed. If the Articles of Impeachment are approved, the matter is sent to the Senate for trial.

It’s actually threefold. First problem is they shot their wad too soon. They needed to take this out until next year and finalize impeachment by the time everyone goes into serious campaign mode. Second problem is they keep bringing in 2nd and 3rd hand witnesses to testify into what Trump was thinking and this isn’t going over too well. Finally, FISA is about to drop and they need all their resources to play down the report and frankly, they can’t.
Biden is on record. He is on video and voice about what he did. He is guilty as sin, yet the MSM refuses to acknowledge it. In my humble opinion, I believe they are waiting on Warren to be so far ahead that they can nail Biden, tie a moral equivalence to Trump and use these third party sources to validate.
And all this can be done simply by doing what Pelosi is doing.

They have nothing on the president and a good many Americans know this is a fraudulent investigation. Yet, there are many millions more who are clueless and it’s those people the Democrats are counting on to continue believing the lie that President Trump committed impeachable offenses. This is their game plan. The RATS are stalling for time. Events such as an economic slowdown, a conflict in the Middle East, a major domestic disturbance, and voter fatigue against Trump are all things they’re hoping for. This is a political Hail Mary. They’re not running on their own policies. As always if things go bad for America it’s good for the Democrats and vice versa.
Schiff and Pelosi are driving a shiv into the back of the nation and the concept of fair play and decency.
They are total dirtbags—and that is the _nicest_ thing I can say about them.
The actuality is they are creating 13 months of absolute piss off among voters. I am so sick and tired of hearing the SAME, IDENTICAL, discussions among all the channels 16 hours a day (I sleep 8). And I hear the same complaint from my family and all my friends, even the liberals except for one who thinks that Zero was the absolute best president ever.
She simply does not have the right under House Rules to do decree an “impeachment inquiry” by executive fiat.
And yet...
That really was a dumb question. That idiot Al Green just forced a house vote on Impeachment a few months ago.
It failed miserably.
Pelosi knows better than to hold another house vote on this matter. It is better to hold the president in “Double Secret Probation”.
