WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. retail sales fell for the first time in seven months in September, suggesting that manufacturing-led weakness could be spreading to the broader economy, keeping the door open for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates again later this month.

Don’t waste your time and effort on the negative nay sayers on FR.

When President Trump finishes his second successful term for most Americans, they will still be telling us doom and gloom fake aka BS stories.

Sad, isn’t it, that we can safely assume that Reuters and most of the rest of the media are absolutely giddy at the mere suggestion of a tanking economy.

Went shopping this weekend for sneakers. Six months ago you could find dozens of pairs for $40 or less (at Kohl’s). Now that price point seems to be $60.

Our local McDonalds sold the McDouble for $1.39 four months ago. Now the same sandwich is $1.79.

Our favorite sit down restaurant just changed it’s menu. Dropped about 1/3 of the items and most entrees went from about $12 to about $15.

Prices are up, no doubt. My wife and I are embarking on a scorched earth, cut out all unnecessary spending rampage.

Non-Citizen residents, trans-women, women, children and the elderly are affected the most.

Amazing. If they are being paid to troll us, they are cheating whomever is paying them.

If they aren’t trolls, they will have a hard time in life not realizing how good realities can over come the negatives in their lives.

Without shopping in stores, there will be people who at some point find other things to do online instead of shopping. I’m at that point.

True. The MSM managed to create a "recession" out of thin air just in time for the 1992 election. I remember it well.

They're trying hard to make another "recession" happen in time for 11/2020.

It started at Lowes the last week in September. I went in three Saturdays ago. They had the Christmas decorations up.

They totally skipped over Halloween and went right to Christmas.

“The Holiday shopping season starting soon will be huge this year.”

Correct, and Sept/Oct are always low-spending months. Everyone is catching their breath and waiting for the Christmas shopping season.

After 2006, they had control of both houses and set up Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG and the entire commercial and financial banking industry so anyone without an income, could get a mortgage or loan. If they couldn't do the paper work to get a mortgage or loan, their community organizers would do it all for them. Most of these, couldn't make the first payment or any others, but AIG insured all the accounts so no one would lose... until it all imploded on us. We were pushed into that recession, because they didn't like GWB.

Reuters trying to talk down the economy again. Isn’t that precious!

The economy is booming, and this scares the crap out of the Left!

Isn’t that the truth! They act like dogs in heat at anything they think is a negative for Trump! They’ve been working overtime on many threads lately.
