President Donald Trump looks likely to cruise to re-election next year under three different economic models Moodys Analytics employed to gauge the 2020 race.
Barring anything unusual happening, the presidents Electoral College victory could easily surpass his 2016 win over Democrat Hillary Clinton, which came by a 304-227 count.

I count Gerald R. as just the tail end of Nixon’s second term but you can make a good case for him the fourth, I suppose.

Will just mean four more years of Impeach Trump for the MSM.
Even WITH that endless drum veat AND faithless RINOs, new judges get placed, regulations get pared, some (not enough) bad guys are relieved of duty, new Executive Orders get implemented, fewer pointless military excursions, some of the cases tied up in the courts from 2017 finally get resolved, fewer bad bills are made law, and the socialists and radicals spend more time chasing their own tails.

Democrats have dug a huge hole. They need to stop digging and wake up but they wont can't. They went "all in" on Mueller and now they're trying to salvage something from the ashes. They have no other option.

NEVER assume in politics nor underestimate the enemy. This is very foolish. I am not very hopeful based on very discouraging trends.

Neither than I, but my concern is longer term.
What comes AFTER Trump is my major concern these days.
I don’t see anyone else on the horizon who can fill those shoes.
With the rate at which this country is becoming socially liberal I suspect Mike Pence will be rejected on delivery.
If trends remain unchanged the country will become majority Left sometime between 2028 and 2035.

This news excites me, but not enough to keep me home. I'm very sure that the Trump base will go out and vote. I cannot imagine that the “moderates” will vote at large for anyone on the left. When push comes to shove, moderates vote for the one who they trust with their wallets. What case can be made against President Trump in that regard?
I also cannot imagine one single Freeper staying home on election day, regardless of what the polls say.

Trump is on his way to an easy win in 2020, according to Moodys accurate election model That's not really what it says. Their models say that if turnout is at historical lows or if the non-incumbent turnout is merely average then Trump should cruise to victory. But if turnout is very high then the Democrat wins. And they also predict an historically high turnout.

Maybe the US electorate isn’t as f***ed up as the media portrays it.
