KEY WITNESS: TRUMP SAID NO QUID PRO QUO
Powerline ^ | 10/14/19

We know from documentary evidence that Gordon Sondland, the U.S. ambassador to the EU, told William Taylor, our ambassador to Ukraine, that there was no quid pro quo involved in connection with Ukraine investigating the Bidens. Sondland appears to have been the president’s point person within the diplomatic corps for dealing with Ukraine in these matters.

Sondland will testify before a congressional committee this week. According to the Washington Post, Sondland will say that his “no quid pro quo” message came from President Trump. In other words, Trump told him there was no such arrangement.

Post reporters Aaron Davis and John Hudson quickly point out, and point out more than once, that Sondland doesn’t know whether Trump was telling the truth when he said no quid pro quo. It quotes a source as follows:

It’s only true that the president said it, not that was true.

Sondland isn’t a mind reader. Of course, he can’t know that Trump was telling the truth when he said no quid pro quo during the conversation in question.

"It’s only true that the president said it, not that was true.:

I see no evidence has been presented in support of this adversarial wording and conclusion. Such wording demonstrates itself to be biased.

It would be entirely unbiased and more reasonable to say simply that the assertion came from the president, is supported by the official transcript, and that no contrary, fact witness evidence has as yet been offered.

If he had doubts, he wouldn’t have repeated it.

Sondland is not a mind reader, but, the Post wishes to create doubt, even though they're not mind readers either, and have absolutely no idea what the real truth is.

Essentially, to them, if Trump said it, it's questionable or not true or fabricated.

I'll believe Trump any day on any issue, more than I would the Post.

Why would Trump feel he had to say it.

Doesn’t it seem odd coming out of nowhere?

Or did the gentleman ask Trump if it should go down that way?

But we gotta look at the fact that Trump KNOWS he can trust no one almost, save Rudy and a few others

He’s NOT gonna mess up and say something that is real ammo for the left.

He’s too shrewd.

Democrat kangaroo court logic: Trump said no quid pro quo. Just because he said it isn’t proof that it was true. Lack of proof is proof of guilt. Impeach!

***********************************************************

msnbc had one of their “ experts” on today and they were discussing Rudy doing investigative work on behalf of President Trump. They all agreed that President Trump was in charge of the CIA and FBI and if any investigation needed to be done they must do it. Yeah, right.

I don’t believe this is about PDJT telling someone there was no quid pro quo in the phone conversation.

As I have read from the beginning, Sondland was saying that Trump had directed his diplomatic representatives that there would be no quid pro quo offered for anything they were asking Ukraine to do.

Yes, there are multiple pieces of evidences that go entirely against the Left's narrative. It's not dependent upon PDJT's singular representations by any means.

They only offer Schiff's parody and the third-hand representations of what so-called whistle blowers supposedly have said. They sift through private testimony in their desperate witch hunt, praying to their god for a PDJT high crime and/or misdemeanor upon which to hang their impeachment hats.

Under the scrutiny in the light of day, this impeachment narrative is absolutely doomed.

Will calls for violence be their next resort?

Had Trump said “yes, there is” it would be PROOF of a quid pro quo. If he says “no, there is not”, it’s clearly proof there is.

Only in America.

No, not “[o]nly in America.”

They experienced it in Solzhenitsyn’s Soviet Union, too, and elsewhere in history. That cunning liar Satan and his minions have been around many millennia.

Audacious lying is not to new to the world with this breed of 21st century Socialists.

Our society has been dumbed down through Ivory Tower academics’ concerted efforts that have trickled down to indoctrinate the youth. A whole new generation knows little of dealing with evidence and proof while its more facile practitioners quickly pass away.

We need to return to more classical education, logic, debate and meritorious argumentation.

Trump said it before the phone call didn’t he.
He said it in response to the assumption the Taylor guy jumped to about why aid was being delayed.

And there was no quid pro quo in the phone call.

And President Z said he didn’t feel any pressure.

And other reports indicate that Ukraine didn’t even realize the aid had been held up.

At some point with no evidence of quid pro quo, and with substantial evidence of no quid pro quo, you have to give the President the benefit of the doubt.

Unless your a democrat, and then you see crimes everywhere regardless of the evidence because boo hoo you lost.
