House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, a California Democrat, stands at the center of the impeachment of the president scam.
And as word gets out about his real game and how he got it -- through a spying operation aimed at the White House that he directed, he's starting to get weirdly wobbly.
Two instances just from the weekend are starting to stand out.
First, in stark contrast to the big hullabaloo he made about hearing from the so-called 'whistleblower' in Congress ahead of the planned Trump execution, Schiff suddenly doesn't think the whistleblower is so very very necessary to testify at his hearings at all:
"We don’t need the whistleblower who wasn’t on the call to tell us what took place during the call," he claimed.
According to National Review:
House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff (D., Calif.) announced on Sunday that the whistleblower at the center of an impeachment inquiry into President Trump may not testify before Congress due to concerns over the person’s safety.
“Our primary interest right now is making sure that that person is protected,” Schiff told interviewers on CBS’s Face the Nation.
Schiff explained that Democrats may be able to gather enough evidence to impeach Trump without revealing the person’s identity.
Trump blasted Schiff’s comments on Twitter on Monday morning .
“Adam Schiff now doesn’t seem to want the Whistleblower to testify. NO!” Trump wrote. “We must determine the Whistleblower’s identity to determine WHY this was done to the USA.”

This was a poorly conceived plan created just 2 weeks after Mueller’s “doddering old fool” testimony.
Not sure why people think it’s somehow impressive to state there is no alleged Fake Whistleblower.
It’s already been determined there was a CIA analyst working on the NSC in the White House, later removed by the Trump Administration.
It’s not a question to cook up anymore that it’s a non-existent person or Adam Schiff. Sometimes the daft here just make you shake your head.
Contrary to many here, I believe all involved in this coup - and that's what it is - will be brought to account.
I am not one of the impatient ones who have lost hope because we have not yet seen the perp walks. In the meantime, President Trump continues meeting and exceeding all his campaign promises and looks to be solidly re-elected next year.
Somewhere in Pasadena a grandmother knits a blindfold while a young man in Tampa buys cartons of generic cigarettes and an older gentleman in Des Moines counts the rifle rounds in his stash.

YOUR primary interest all along has been to fabricate a case against President Trump out of thin air.
Protecting this "whistleblower" was never important to you ... because you knew damn well that you could not pursue a case that would stand up under any legal or political scrutiny if you tried to foist this fiction on the American public while hiding the identity of this "whistleblower."
You're now backpedaling on this whole "whistleblower" charade for one simply reason: The whistleblower doesn't exist.
This ‘insurance policy’ has more riders than the Jessie James Gang of thieves. Not one has knowledge on the premise of ‘riding’ They continue to be dislodged from the saddle and fall from the bucking bronco.
Of course we don’t need the whistleblower to testify. We have the frigging transcripts, and there was no “there”, there.

It appears to be exactly that. The part I find interesting is that anyone with a passing interest in politics would of seen almost immediately that Slow Joe would get some Ukraine splashed on him. Of course that may of been a secondary goal.

Schiff acts like he’s a judge running a Grand Jury......but there’s a monumental distinction:....
a grand jury is a criminal proceeding. Impeachment is a political process in which
the House gathers evidence to define the meaning of “high crimes and misdemeanors.”
Schiff wants it both ways:
<><> Run secret committees hearings like a criminal Grand Jury......
<><> then impeach Mr. Trump of political offenses even if the President committed no crime.
IOW, he’s already made up his mind....Trump is guilty of something........so let’s nail him.
Schiff was challenged on his committee’s unheard of secrecy and his response on Sunday talk TV was frightening:
“we want to make sure that we meet the needs of the investigation (and the hell with Pres Trump’s Constitutional right to be heard).
You have your opinions, I have mine...So be it...
Why should Schiff be nervous? He is untouchable. Nothing will happen to him.
