Will the propaganda pundits try to pretend that the Dem incumbent Governor did well because he had almost twice as many votes as his future R opponent?

Pundits are stunned. They are shocked into silence.

“...If California continues downhill. I may be moving to Louisiana....”
Hot, humid, sub-tropical climate. Love bugs, fire ants, cottonmouths, rattlesnakes, copperheads, mosquitos, mud daubers....did I mention mosquitos? Yeah, mosquitos that can stand flat-footed and kiss a turkey. Then, there’s some wild, vicious critters in those bayous over there that can swallow a man whole. Other than that, the food and cuisine is like none other on earth. Good Cajun folks that love to party and great music to dance to.

Honestly at this point I am setting my sights on other countries. (No joke. As I have already lived abroad.)

But I’d love to at least visit Louisiana some day.

Holy moley you’re singing my tune! If I could handle half-foot long scorpions over in Saudi Arabia and two yearling lions in a cage in Ohio, Cajun country sounds like the place for me :-) That is, if I could con my wife into moving there ;-)

What is wrong with the republicans that Rissone, Abraham and Landry didn’t work this out before the election?

The 2 GOP candidates got more than 50% of vote. No Democrat holds statewide office - except Governor. Nancy Pelosi will help elect a Republican. And Trump and/or his sons/daughters will hold rallies.

I think Edwards is toast for the Nov 16 runoff.

They probably could have. However, the main goal tonight was to keep the incumbent RAT under 50% regardless of what the others do. This forces a runoff in the main Nov. election where the RAT will then be challenged by the the highest REP voter getter. At that point, the REP will get all the support that the others had today. Yeah...it’s kinda crazy but that’s the way it is over there.

Probably the best result we could have hoped for.

We need Rep. Abraham where he is — exactly like nothing much was lost when Rep. John Ratcliffe had to withdraw from that national security post nomination.

If we take back the House next year, we need every staunch conservative we can muster to put some steel into the remaining RINOs.

I know that Abraham’s motion to expel Nervous Nancy was just a morale booster for the troops ... but my morale has certainly needed some boosting, so fight on Rep. Abraham!

If they don’t already have it, they MUST go for constitutional carry now.

Trump’s popularity helped. Rispone will want him back to make the case for finally dispatching Edwards once and for all:
