BREAKING: Republicans in Louisiana have created a supermajority in the State House by winning the competitive seats they needed. Here is the CURRENT expected final flip map tonight. Pink indicates R flips, lightest blue indicates a D flip. On track for a net gain of 8 ATM.
Member when concern trolls would post that media spin here in breaking news?
I member.
The GOP just flipped EIGHT House seats and will have a SUPERMAJORITY in the State House and are on track to flip the State Senate to a Supermajority as well.
Keep up the impeachment Nancy.
Looks like a runoff for Governor.
Excellent.
It serves the Dems right.
Epic night in Louisiana. Thanks to President Trump (with an assist by Nancy Pelosi), the GOP has a supermajority in the state legislature and is on track to win the governor seat in November.
They are in a state of shock.
Yes, but a runoff between........?
Judging from that map, it’s hard to tell Democrats’ districts from flood plains.
It's a loss for their party - the Democrats...
Rispone
Three cheers for Schiff and Pelosi . Impeach, impeach, impeach.
But wait a minute...I thought Drumpf was unpopular and destroying the GOP in the process?
Between the incumbent Rat Governor and one of two Republicans on the ballot. When I checked the Rat was getting 45% of the vote and the Republicans, combined, were getting 50% plus (can’t recall the exact figures).
Radio silence, Thomas Dolby, the original version. A great tune, melodic, and fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27NAvbcwimQ
GOP total Gov. vote won by 6%. The GOP will likely take back the governor’s mansion in November, with a supermajority.
Just checked...
2 Rats (combined) = 47%
2 Republicans (combined)= 51%
First move is to appropriate funding for tripling the airport landing strips.
To handle the new ‘incoming.’
If California continues downhill. I may be moving to Louisiana. But not New Orleans as its sinking.
This was an utterly EPIC victory tonight for the GOP in Louisiana.
Pundits are stunned. They are shocked into silence.
If it wasn’t for the humidity I’d move there.
