President Donald Trump injected doubt into whether former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani will long be representing him, when he said he 'has been' his attorney.
Trump was asked about the matter a day after two Giuliani associates were indicted in federal court on alleged campaign finance violations.
The men, both born in former Soviet republics, have assisted Giuliani in pursuit of his theory of Ukrainian 'collusion' in the 2016 election.
'Well, I don't know. I haven't spoken to Rudy,” Trump said, when asked about it.

Looks like Trump may be cutting him loose. Maybe he was just too close to getting on that plane to Vienna. Do we have no extradition treaty with Austria?

I think Gowdy was brought on to replace Rudy. He’s going to be the PR TV guy now. He’s better at sticking on message. Rudy, while great in his day, is ready to retire from battle.
Listen, the state of things is so precarious I may start to worry about someone they don’t try to take out. I am waiting to see if Gowdy ends up being a mole or blackmailable.

Too bad, too. For the last couple weeks Rudy was more low-key than in the past and represented POTUS pretty well. Before that, he was bouncing off the walls, and was embarrassing.
It’s a hot mess, really.

Fault her all you want. I didn’t like that she was a semi-never Trumper throughout 2016. But then Trump invited her to meet with him and Pence just before the inauguration.
After she met Trump in person she has been a far better defender and spokesman for the admin whenever asked about her thoughts about current controversies.
Rudy is a not bad, just...loose.
