Global climate “change”. Didn’t you get the update? :)
... It’s also the 15th largest temperature drop over a two day period in Denver’s history,...
So there were FOURTEEN larger ones.
WHEN did they happen?

It was about 83 degrees at noon yesterday. 25 degrees this morning. A whole 3 inches of snow. No big deal.

It was a heat wave driven by man-driven climate change that was so intense, that temperatures actually fell.

Live in western Colorado approx. 240 west of Denver on I-70.
Temperatures here are expected to drop into the low 20’s F ... this is a agriculture area, vineyards, apple orchards, peaches, etc., not good for growers. The first hard freeze is the end of the season ... most growers hope for late October. Not this year.

Reason #227 why I could never live in Colorado...one day it's 70,the next day it's 10.

That’s quite a drop in a short period. Good luck to everybody who suddenly needs a new car battery, I bet the racks are bare.

It’s a record!!!
Since Denver was founded in 1858 that spans the awesome epoch of time of 161 years.
Unless some tech-geeky fur trader brought a thermometer with him and kept meticulous records in the 1830s or ‘40s.

At my place north of Denver, I’d just finished blowing out my sprinklers yesterday at 4pm, in 79 degree weather, when the wind picked up with a vengeance. Hail and then snow were falling before I called it a night.
