Woke is all the rage these days. Who wouldve known that in the day of intersectionality, Critical Race Theory, and LGBTQ activism that a black Santa would team up with a gay Christmas tree to oppose white Christmas.
Disclaimer, this is mildly satirical, but the photo is real.
Of course, thats just a mockery of what happened in one Lowes store whose picture is floating around on social media.
Of course, were not going to make an issue out of a black Santa despite the fact that the historical St. Nicholas was a Greek in Asia Minor. The white Santa portrayed today is nothing more than a European cultural tradition. Nothing against the black Santa other than the fact that Lowes exploits it as though its a trophy to be displayed next to the gay Christmas tree as a symbol of the current fall of white oppressiveness.
Seriously? A gay Christmas tree? How stupid!
Especially their state of the art weaponry. ............................. Is that still around? That date’s back before 1950. I guess the newer ones come with a sound for the snowflakes. You pull the trigger and you hear a Hillary screech? (Oh I could add to the wind part, but I’ll be good.)
They have orange tips on them and everything. So you don’t accidentally confuse them for real guns.
My neighbor puts out wire framed, lighted reindeer on his front lawn. Then, like clockwork, my other neighbor runs out there late at night and positions them in a reindeer mating position. .....
Well, you should see the look on the kids faces when they leave for school in the morning. Must say reindeer neighbor is not pleased and quickly repositions his reindeer. This back and forth goes on about once per week for the season.
When asked, I know nothing. ...Sgt Schultz. ...:-))
The last time we went to Lowes I asked an employee for some help and he ran away from me.
....
That’s funny.
I think his brother works at my store. LOL.
The lady next to me in line was black and had several of her grand kids in tow. When she saw the "black" Santa she screamed loudly that Santa is white. Everybody knows that and this wasn't helping black folks in any way. She was so mad that she took her entire group out the nearest exit and refused to let her kids see black Santa.
The rest of us white folks shrugged and let the kids visit.
Don we now our gay apparel...
Santa can be any color...IMO. But regardless of what color he is he’d NEVER stand next to a perverts’ tree.
What about women?
Kinda reminds me of the kid toy where you stack the different color plastic donuts.
I love inflatables too - but they’re no match for a Red Ryder.
Oh wait, wrong story...
Don’t blacks already have Kwanzaa?
And isn’t a black Santa cultural appropriation?
I had two of those.
They can knock over a plastic army man at 20 feet if you get the angle right.
Lowe’s has a better assortment of stuff, but I like HD better because the staff is nicer and more helpful.
My local Lowe’s always has a feel of simmering tension between managers and lower level folks, and even between employees of different races. I’ve stopped going there unless I’m going to the garden department (because they have better plants than HD). So I think there may be some kind of structural problem there.
That said, their Christmas decorations seem pretty harmless, and I think their buyer was just picking up a few PC things that might sell. As long as it’s not naked pagan goddess idols from the Amazon - oops, that would be Pope Francis - who cares?
This is a big nothingburger.
“Santa can be any color...IMO. But regardless of what color he is hed NEVER stand next to a perverts tree.”
That was my take on it, too.
Wonder how long before that cone shaped thing gets a pen stuck in it.
Oh we had a Black Santa for years back in the 1970’s, 80’s, 90’s...until I quit work.
That tree is an abomination, but I look at the bright side... these days rainbow anything is a red flag warning, so thanks for the tip whoever wants to advertise such proclivities.
