Gym teacher I worked with was activated in Desert Storm. His USMCR unit was sent to Norway to replace NATO asdigned USMC units transferred to Saudi. We collected for his family as NYC Schools didnt pay while he was deployed. When he returned I asked him how it was. He said great except for the three guys who froze to death on guard duty.
