I did contract work for a federal agency in the early 2000’s.
I was a little astonished one day to find the employees acting like fourth-graders while they spent the day decorating their office for Halloween.

Christmas is next. Already is really.
Canceling this holiday isn’t for Christians. LOL
I agree but it’s not about paying for these holidays or even celebrating these “holidays.”
And this has nothing to do with what the parents want to celebrate.
So let’s see what they think of this new halloween holiday no longer being celebrated because it affects muslims.

Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) named Illinois Governor J. B. Pritzker (D) September 2019 Porker of the Month for signing a $40.1 billion budget without any spending restraints and $1.4 billion in pork-barrel projects.
223.9 billion shortfall, which breaks down to a debt burden of $52,600 per taxpayer. The state has $6 billion in unpaid bills and the lowest credit rating of any state in the country. Its unfunded pension liability tops $130 billion. Illinois taxpayers are so saddled with debt, taxes, corrupt local government, and dwindling middle-class jobs that 157,000 residents have left over the past five years.
The school will no doubt happily celebrate Dia de Los Muertos instead, though.
Exactly. Evangelical Christians don’t celebrate Halloween. They sometimes have Harvest parties, instead.
Of course, it’s doubtful this decision was about trying to appease evangelicals.

Not all folks celebrate all holidays. If that’s the logic then there’s no reason for a school to close.

In Mexico, all schools are obliged to build Altar to the Dead, the class that does the best Altar...gets the prize. Really a Satanic ritual, most of the Protestant parents yanked their kids out of school.
Yep, instead they have decided to
celebrate ramadamadingdong for a month, more inclusive don’t you know, and will be strictly enforced with mullahs and public canings, and beheadings of Christians. Tailgating and beheaded soccer, a fun time for all, bring some food but don’t eat it until after six pm or else. The truth/sarc.
Suddenly, they allow religion in schools.
Around here, Muslims don’t let their kids celebrate Valentines Day because it is a “Christian holiday”.
