As to deep state involvement, the Clinton Department of Justice illegally seized control of the investigation from the National Transportation Safety Board and handed it off to the FBI, which, in turn, ceded real control of the investigation to the CIA.

Although President Clinton preferred to work through his fixers, on March 11, 1997, Clinton quietly signed Executive Order 13039, effectively removing all federal whistleblower protection from anyone, civilian or military, associated with U.S. Navy “special warfare” operations. This would include any Navy divers charged with finding TWA 800’s black boxes. There is compelling evidence that divers secretly removed the boxes and put them back into place after they had been doctored. When finally “found” a week after the crash, neither the cockpit voice recorder nor the flight data recorder offered any clues as to why the plane crashed.

TWA 800 was one of two plane crashes in 1996 about which the media chose to know as little as possible. The other was the crash of the US Air Force plane carrying Clinton’s troubled secretary of commerce, Ron Brown. In neither case would reporters give whistleblowers the time of day. As a result, when three military pathologists and a forensic photographer came forward to tell the truth about what they discovered in examining Brown’s body, their careers quickly died in darkness.

When Jack Cashill makes such stupid comments, it is time to worry.
Our country is a war (call it CWII if you like).
To express surprise that the enemy doesn't call itself out for its evils or that it is manipulating whistleblower laws for its own purposes is either naive to the point of inanity or just plain acting stupid for effect.
Cashill is better than this.
It wasn’t too long ago I joked that Hillary’s missing emails were probably on a thumb drive buried in Sandy Berger’s pants.

Nor when he interfered in the Brexit vote.
They are not “deep state democrats”, they are Communists STILL working to take Anerica for themselves.
The Democrats and the media are the enemy. They aren't going to "notice" when they are advancing.
But if they did, they would express satisfaction.
The other half of the population cared, and our response is to elect men who promise to further the conservative cause. Unfortunately, once the latter group gets into office, it's clear the only agenda about which they care is their own bank account.
To get along, they just go along. And principles and virtue be hanged.

Bill Clinton ordered a deliberate coverup because the alternative was both a disaster for the Aviation industry and a possibility of war with Iran.
Clinton was also facing reelection that year, and didn't want his political enemy (Bob Dole) to beat him over the head with his inability to keep Americans safe.
Don’t hear or see much of him of late sounds like all that nose candy shorted out most of his neurons.
Maybe because they are surprised at how little power they have compared to what they initially imagined after long years of study and mastery. How many people remain in employment even when they discover they don’t like the job and stay to provide for their families and occasionally make a positive difference?
As Sun Tzu would say, war is war. Where winning requires the firing of weapons or victory by other means is irrelevant (actually he would say it is better NOT to have to fire your weapons).
In the end though, what matters is victory.
So far, the enemy is winning in their effort to take over the country and destroy the influence of our culture and faith in it.
The President is fighting back but that's about it on the human level.

Nobody cared. The press in unhinged. We are in a civil war in which they are the shock troops, every one of them is a “Tokyo Rose.” And our side better learn to hit back. We are like beachgoers who let the bullies kick sand in our faces. Democrats use every extent of the law and bureaucracy.
