Re-weighting the poll to 2016 turnout actually gives you the same result, but the fact that they didn’t find hardly any independents makes the whole thing quite suspect.

By Sunday it will be a complete flip from 69% against impeachment last week to 69% by next week. The media has to make the GOP scared enough of the public reaction to the charges to get them to turn on Trump. I’m sure the magic number for the dems is the 23% approval rating Nixon had when Howard Baker made his famous visit to the WH. The polls may be fake, but they have to be low enough. Expect them to keep going south.
