If You Liked the Mueller Investigation, You’ll Love Impeachment (wow what a great piece!)
Frontpagemag.com ^ | 9/27/19 | Daniel Greenfield

Posted on 09/29/2019 5:11:01 AM PDT by cotton1706

Stop me if this sounds familiar.

An intelligence operative backed by a Clinton lawyer accuses Trump of an inappropriate relationship with a former Soviet bloc country leading to an investigation and calls for everything from imprisonment to impeachment. The political half of Washington D.C. is muttering quietly, “Didn’t we do this already?”

After spending years accusing Trump of working with the Russians to undermine Hillary, they’re accusing him of working with the Ukrainians to undermine Biden. If Warren pulls far enough ahead, the Democrats will accuse Trump of working with the Poles or the Latvians to undermine her campaign.

The impeachment push is the same discredited scam that the Democrats had pushed on the country at the cost of millions of dollars, years of legislative stalemate, ruined lives and fake news. It’s like getting a scam email from a Nigerian prince, turning him down, and then receiving another email from the same address, except he now claims to be a Zambian prince, but still wants you to cash the same check.

When this all shakes out, it will turn out that Schiff and the congressional dems set this up from the get go.

That's called SEDITION and punishable by death; the highest crime that can be committed against the U.S.

Trump and his family are taking the brunt of this for US; we are the deplorables, the real target of the bitter two-time loser Hillary Clinton and her Capitol Hill, media and CIA allies. The one benefit of this constant barrage is that we see that the Paul Ryans, Romneys, McCains, Bushes are not, and never were our friends but were the slinking allies of the left, desperately eager for their favor, happy to push us down, willing to say anything critical of Trump, Reagan and us in return for a few scraps of praise from the media table and invitations to their social events. This wretched bunch is not only attacking us, they are attacking our history, culture and legitimacy and using the tools we pay for, such as the ridiculous failures known as the embedded CIA and FBI to meddle in domestic politics and further their disgusting aims.

Yes, when the collusion ploy failed, they rolled out the phone call. If it wasn’t the that , it would be something else. They know they won’t win, but they simply can’t conduct normal government and business when they can’t use it to advance their agenda. Thus they’ll have constant investigations until the election. They know they’ll lose, but it would be worse if they had to compete on even turf, where their failing policies would be further exposed.

This was posted a couple of days ago but it’s good to post again as it’s so good. Everything Greenfield does is good but this one really brings into context the Democrat insanity.

President Trump is a great American patriot. I didn’t know that when I voted for him but he must be sent by God to get our country through the quagmire created by the power-hungry Democrats.
He hasn’t faltered. He keeps going and I don’t know how.

I was shocked to learn that sedition is not a death penalty crime:

US Code 18:

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

The republicans are not allowed to ask any questions in the house hearings.

So, what is the meaning of this clause found in the U.S. Code?

A person who is found guilty of attempted mutiny, mutiny, sedition, or failure to suppress or report a mutiny or sedition shall be punished by death or such other punishment as a court-martial may direct.

Trump was discussing with the Ukrainian prez the common difficulties they had in getting rid of communist deep state totalitarianism bent agents from their respective swamps.

This is why they are so furious and going on an all out attack, pretending it is treason against America, when it is treasonous seditious swampers at the CIA’s socialist camp who are plotting AMerica’s downfall since a long time.

If the Republicans are not allowed to ask any questions, shouldn’t they protest - maybe walk out? Do something disruptive.

Wondering if the SCOTUS could have a part to play if indeed the democrats push through impeachment on bogus articles thereof?

In other words...Trump administration suing or soliciting the Supreme Court to take a look at this and rule whether it meets the legal standard of high crimes and misdemeanors as described in the U.S. Constitution?

Don’t think it’s ever happened, but certainly there must be a remedy for false accusations leading to impeachment unless the framers did not foresee a scenario such as this...I dunno, curious.
