New York Times: 3 Malibu Millionaires Help Pay for Climate Change Protests Worldwide

The New York Times reported Friday that the wave of worldwide protests against climate change is partly being paid for by the Climate Emergency Fund, which is funded by a mega-wealthy trio that includes “the Kennedys and the Gettys.”

The co-founders are Trevor Neilson, Rory Kennedy, and Aileen Getty — whose family fortune, ironically, was made in the oil business. Their money funds protests staged by “Extinction Rebellion” and other groups, the Times notes:

Since its founding in July, the Climate Emergency Fund has distributed grants, (some as small as $2,000) to dozens of groups, including 350.org and others tied to the youth climate strikes last week. Extinction Rebellion has chapters around the world and has brought intense attention to climate change through disruptive protests in London in April, and subsequent protests in Los Angeles, New York City and elsewhere. It got a pledge of $350,000.

All three are residents of Malibu, California, one of the wealthiest communities in the United States — though the three portray themselves as victims of climate change, since their property was threatened by last year’s wildfires.

I am already aware of every one of the items you listed.

You seem to imply my post— which, again I’ll point out, was a question— was somehow promulgating a falsehood, which you felt a need to correct by posting that list

Again, my QUESTION was pertaining to the NAME of the climate change organisation (nonprofit) to which Obama shipped billions of dollars right before he left office.

Specifically, the OP (which is obvious you either did not read or did not comprehend) in THIS thread is ABOUT the “Climate Emergency Fund” founded by Trevor Neilsen, Rory Kennedy, and Eileen Getty.

So I was asking is the “Climate Emergency Fund” the SAME or a DIFFERENT ORGANIZATION than the one Obama sent billions of taxpayer dollars to?

I should have just googled it.

The answer to my question is No, not the same.
Obama’s State Dept sent a billion to the “Green Climate Fund.”

Whether there is any fund-sharing between “Green Climate Fund’ and “Climate Emergency Fund” (which, the OP says, paid for little Greta’s staged protests) is another question.

I’m sorry about not dealing with your question in a better way... I should have been more considerate.

I have a question you might have the answer to - is “little Greta’s staged protests “ directly tied to George Soros? I got a ‘throw away’ magazine bundled in Barron’s yesterday on Climate Change and it seemed - at first glance to be a connection.

*Directly* tied to George Soros?

I do not know. One would need to follow the money, and to do that, one would need access to the bookkeeping, receipts, and tax records. I’m nobody, and I have no such access.
I only know a little bit, gleaned from public records & news reports online.

What I *think* is that we tend to attribute monolithic power to George Soros, without really understanding what it is George Soros really does.

Soros makes money as a financial wheeler-dealer. He’s a manipulator who knows how to “play” the system to his own advantage.
He then uses his money (or launders it) to fund a series of “nonprofits” to push his political agendas.

(Understand— “nonprofit” means tax-free. So nonprofit social justice organizations— posing as charities to help marginalized groups—refugees, immigrants—have become big time tax shelters for donors, and then these nonprofits in turn often RECEIVE your tax dollars in the form of grants.)

Here is the major thing Soros does: Soros’ nonprofits issue GRANTS & provide TRAINING to OTHER “nonprofits” and their resident ACTIVISTS.

Back to your original question re: *direct* ties: The Soros methodology— of forming multiple nonprofits, then shuffling funds & influence from one nonprofit to another & intermingling donated funds with tax dollars-— has become so ubiquitous, many new nonprofits are simply paralleling those methods independently, without necessarily originating from within the Soros orbit itself.

Then those new, independent nonprofits can also begin interacting with the Soros constellation, petitioning Soros’ groups for monetary grants, training, etc.— or not, as they so choose.

It’s not unusual to see certain activists’ names as members of multiple nonprofits; wealthy donors likewise.

It’s all a very tangled web, and often difficult to determine who is being paid by Soros versus who is merely marching alongside.

Another interesting question is how much of our tax dollars are weaving a circuitous path back into Soros-connected groups?

The Clinton Foundation is an example of a group of nonprofits patterned after the Soros Open Societies group of nonprofits.
The CF exists parallel, and in a sense competing with, while at the same time interacting with a lot of the same individuals, groups, and goals, as Soros.

And I do know the Clinton Global Initiative laundered millions in stolen tax dollars (along with millions more in donations to Hillary’s POTUS campaign) by ostensibly co-funding something called the Alliance for Clean Cookstoves.

Google Alliance for Clean Cookstoves for an excellent example of how the “climate change” / fleecing of the American taxpayer— while using 3rd world poor as pawns— scam works.

You know a lot about this stuff... I'm impressed.

Years ago I was doing some volunteer work and accidentally became a force - so to speak. The head of one of our larger non-profits said it was time I learned the ‘dirty truth’... I did my ‘not interested’ thing and she said I had to know so we went into her office. There she told me that all the non-profits in town had agreed to pass around the clients since all of them had to make their numbers to get United Way funding... and there weren't enough people 'in need' to keep all the agencies viable. My group needed to start ‘passing around our clients’... I have other stories I could tell... but suffice it to say I know you have a clue about what's going on...

Oh, and the 16 Billion dollars Cummings district received? Their excuse why it's not graft is it went to 'non-profits'. Is that a hoot or what?

Exactly.
The trick is to be on the “staff” or the “board” of one or more “nonprofits.”
Collect an executive salary, pay salaries to your family & friends.
Charity? Pffft.
The “needy” get nada.
They’re there for window dressing.

A few years ago, Bill Gates “partnered” with the Clinton Foundation to donate $25 million worth of laptops to Los Angeles schoolkids.
2 questions: 1.why would Bill Gates need to donate to the Clinton’s first, & then the Clintons donate the computers?
2. Did the media follow up & actually SEE— or account for— $25 million worth of new laptops in schools after the initial announcement ?
Of course not.
Gates got away with a huge tax write off, Hillary got a campaign donation.

Same goes for all those Clean Cookstoves— nobody ever went to any mud huts in China & India & actually counted all the stoves we taxpayers supposedly paid for.
