The House of Representatives is set to take a two-week recess vacation after announcing its so-called impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump in response to him having a routine conversation with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Congress is about to leave for a two-week recess, said Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) on Thursday. The representative added that he believes Congress should not do that and should remain in Washington, DC, to do the work to hold this president accountable.
The stakes are so high, said Khanna. We have just announced an impeachment inquiry against the president.

Now, though, the democrats are panicked, for they now have to return to their constituencies, and not all of them are for impeachment.
They just got back from six weeks off.
Take a year off you bastards.
In session is the week or two between vacations
Hit the road, Jack.
“...have the media carry the ball for them for two weeks...” Not sure the enemedia can do two weeks worth of thinking by themselves.
Hoping that some of them will be harassed and confronted everywhere they go during this break.
We don’t need to be marching on Washington DC. If something were to be done to show support for Trump, everyone needs to march on every district HQs, Republican or Democrat and demand to support President Trump. Hit them when they are home, and it’s much easier than asking people to go across the whole country.
Instead of a two week recess they have a two week work year. They could do their damage in two weeks and we would then have 50 weeks to straiten out the mess.
And now you're going to go away and let your Big Media propagandists blather about it for two weeks.
When the Articles are drafted they will never receive a floor vote.
Pelosi won’t allow it.
There is no way they get 218 votes on Articles derived from an anonymous Blower citing hearsay evidence.
Not even Democrats are that stupid.
They just got back from six weeks off.

Yep. Last week, the Senate voted on and confirmed ZERO District Court nominees. This week, the Senate voted on and confirmed ZERO District Court nominees. And now theyre in recess for yet another two weeks.
When Trump assumed office there were 86 vacant District Court judgeships. There are now 97 vacant District Court judgeships.
There are 71 of Trumps Judicial nominees pending confirmation in the Senate (of which 51 are pending in Lindsey Grahams Judiciary Committee). This is INEXCUSABLE! Graham needs to no longer allow the DemocRATS to use the Blue Slip process to stop consideration of Trumps nominees. And McConnell needs to schedule confirmation votes on nominees quickly after theyre out of the Judiciary Committee.
Pelosi claims that if this fraudulent “evidence” doesn’t work, she has plenty of other charges, a bagful of them.
Tell me this isn’t harassment .
If this happen to you or me, we could sue.
They will get the Votes.
They just have to wait for the Media to poison the Well enough. Two weeks of the DNC Media 24 Hour around the Clock Propaganda should do the trick.
That’s exactly what they will do. The word “partisan” is never applied to Democrats. But this is the civil war we have all talked about. They will create Trump fatigue and make voters want it to go away. The media will then change the subject so they wont be held accountable. Impeaching a Republican president for Democrat crimes is the essence of hubris.
Gotta wonder if this has anything to do with McCarthy planning to force a vote on impeachment. If they aren’t there, then they can’t vote and the Dems don’t have to go on record.
I think they may have embarrassed themselves with this and now need to go into hiding for a bit to let it slide off into the memory hole.
An aggressive GOP would have action teams to make sure they couldn’t go into hiding. The Dems should be followed around and confronted every time the stick their noses out their sewers. However, the pubbies still seem so passive.
