NEW YORK (AP) — Earth is in more hot water than ever before, and so are we, an expert United Nations climate panel warned in a grim new report Wednesday.
Sea levels are rising at an ever-faster rate as ice and snow shrink, and oceans are getting more acidic and losing oxygen, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change said in a report issued as world leaders met at the United Nations.

The Pacific Ocean is increasing in size, but lava is entering the ocean floor at the rift. So say for every 1 cubic foot of new lava, but only 0.9 cubic feet “disappears”, then the ocean has less capacity. And would cause ocean levels to rise.
Seriously - I wonder if those dynamics have been taken into account? Hmmm - maybe I can get a billion dollar grant. I could buy Paul Allen’s yacht for a research vessel.

They may become a little less base in places from time to time but it is just pure propaganda to say they are becoming acidic. This is a blatant technique to link the oceans with acid rain, and generate urgency.

They need to provide the data to support “acceleration” - because the narrative has been “if we continue our ways we predict in 80 years a 2C degree temp increase....” - so to suddenly claim that it’s all PERCEPTIVELY VISIBLE NOW is absurd and goes against their prior predictions.
