BoringStoned at it again. Someone tell this idiot that the oceans can’t become more acidic because they are not acidic to begin with. The oceans are base. They may become a little less base in places from time to time but it is just pure propaganda to say they are becoming acidic. This is a blatant technique to link the oceans with acid rain, and generate urgency.

Well you see, “ocean neutralization” does not sound as alarming as “ocean acidification,” so there. Wake me up when the sea reaches the same pH as pure water.

This whole thing reminds me of how they say we need to reduce our carbon footprint. Not carbon dioxide footprint. That’s of course a colorless odorless gas necessary to support plant life. Carbon footprint kind of brings a sooty image to mind. Like we’re polluting. Well, maybe I should start talking about my diamond footprint. What, diamonds are pure carbon too!
