"Members of the White House press corps have gone 195 days without an official press briefing."
Doesn't matter. The White House press corps (i.e., fake news) does not require "official press briefings" to file their reports.

Plainly speaking, they were all Democrats. Why give Democrats a platform to daily try and destroy the POTUS?

Good. Glad that they had the courage to do it.
Anyone who is interested can read the president’s tweets.

Although the Constitution guarantees freedom of the press from government dictat, it in no way guarantees the press access to government officials, or routine press conferences, or even press releases. All the privileges the media came to rely on can be discontinued at any time by any administration.

Good. Now close the WH press offices and take away all press passes.

The President should have done canceled the briefings about 30 days after Sanders took over. It wasnt necessary to put her through all the abuse she took gracefully but unnecessarily.
To: Red Badger
The press briefings with a Republican President, had become much like the UK Prime Minister’s Questions, where the opposition shout insane questions and heckle the PM.
They serve no value, glad they are canceled, along with the stupid “correspondences dinner”.
To: Red Badger
Stick that up your briefing room access lawsuits.

I wouldn’t want to answer stupid leading rhetorical questions designed to elicit wording that could be wantonly abused, and have also learned to stop giving people a chance to ask them.

The great thing about Sarah Sanders was that she gave it right back to the idiot press jerks.
