Is there any wonder that the enemies of freedom, the so-called "progressives," do not promote such authentic histories of America? Their philosophy puts something called "the state," or "global interests" as being superior to individuals and requires a political elitist group to decide what role individuals are to play.
In other words, they must turn the Founders' ideas upside-down in order to achieve a common mediocrity for individuals and power for themselves.
Thomas Jefferson wrote to Roger Weightman on June 24, 1826:

We’ve only had people who’ve been warming the seat as president for years now. Trump gets in there and out works them every day.
He makes them all look lazy and incompetent. Obama was not remotely ready to lead this country, but Bush was a joke too.
Then you have the likes of Jeb Bush and Romney, and you get the picture.
He’s raised the bar so high, that after his next four years, there will be an act of Congress to keep in another four years.

No, there are other groups that believe it is okay to kill people for their religion - Nazis, communists, etc.Even the Catholics were known to engage in such behavior at one point. The Muslims are just one of the largest and most active groups in that regard at this point in history.
I never heard about “freedom of worship” until Obama. It used to be “freedom of religion”.
The old concept was freedom to live your religion with no government interference. Today the concept is freedom to “worship”. So I can gather in private or in a church and mumble whatever I want with a preacher.
But outside the church, we must all follow the dictates of the state atheism and perversion.
The hell with freedom of worship. I want freedom of religion, the freedom to follow my faith in and OUT of the churchhouse.

I instead point to the early-mid 1900’s progressives. They injected the leftist professors that led to leftist colleges, leftist pubic school teachers, leftist unions, leftist Hollywood, leftist MSM, now leftist business leaders and social media.
