Video of President Trump's speech about freedom of religion around the world to United Nations.
Speech is about religious freedom throughout the world.
Thanking Ivanka and Franklin Graham.
In July he met with survivors of religious persecution at the White House. They are there at this summit.
US is forming a coalition of businesses to do an initiative for protecting religious freedom.
First time ever this has been done.
I think that was a magnificent speech.
Why has no president done this before?
The only people who think it’s ok to kill people for their religion are the Muslims.
What’s wrong with pointing this before the entire planet?
It was magnificent, I agree.
President Trump has his priorities right.
Other presidents didn’t care.
And you would think the media would be all over this to praise Trump for coming to the aid of millions of people who are being condemned and killed for their religious beliefs.
Yes, you would think but am not surprised they are ignorinbg his fantastic leadership of this summit on religious freedom.
By the way - here is another great video of this summit - this time including VP Pence’s great remarks.

The audience stood up for the President!
These political elites who continue to categorize and criticize "baskets" (Hillary) of wonderful citizens who oppose their coercive ideology might consider the words of the man known as "the father of the Constitution" under which they have their employment:
Excerpt: "Because we hold it for a fundamental and undeniable truth, that Religion or the duty which we owe to our Creator and the Manner of discharging it, can be directed only by reason and conviction, not by force or violence. Is there anywhere a clearer statement of the underlying principle of the U. S. Constitution's provisions and protections for "the People's" rights and liberties?"The Religion then of every man must be left to the conviction and conscience of every man; and it is the right of every man to exercise it as these may dictate. This right is in its nature an unalienable right. It is unalienable; because the opinions of men, depending only on the evidence contemplated by their own minds, cannot follow the dictates of other men: It is unalienable also; because what is here a right towards men, is a duty towards the Creator. It is the duty of every man to render to the Creator such homage, and such only, as he believes to be acceptable to him. This duty is precedent both in order of time and degree of obligation, to the claims of Civil Society. Before any man can be considered as a member of Civil Society, he must be considered as a subject of the Governor of the Universe: And if a member of Civil Society, who enters into any subordinate Association, must always do it with a reservation of his duty to the general authority; much more must every man who becomes a member of any particular Civil Society, do it with a saving of his allegiance to the Universal Sovereign. We maintain therefore that in matters of Religion, no mans right is abridged by the institution of Civil Society, and that Religion is wholly exempt from its cognizance." - James Madison
The very foundation of the Founders' Declaration of Independence from a "government-over-people" rule to one of a people's recognition of "overruling Providence" and "people-over-government" liberty was summarized in Jefferson's, "The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time: the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them."
In our generation, do we not see that "hand of force" unmasked at the same time as that vicious ideology refuses to recognize Madison's "Creator," "the Governor of the Universe," and "Universal Sovereign," or Jefferson's "the God who gave us life," but those who have bought into it utilize the "hand of force" to deny public discourse to include those descriptions in its "politically-correct" discourse or their propagandizing of the youth of America?
Thanks.
Talking to the U.N. about religious freedom is like talking to Dracula about the benefits of sunbathing.
Generically speaking we have to stop the phrase: “Freedom of Worship” (instead of “Freedom of Religion”)... its a leftist ruse to limit religion to our time in our churches. Religion is who and what we are and how we live our lives, that is what they want to limit and why they’ve coined the phrase Freedom of Worship.
I’m sure none of those claps came from Arab nations. 11 Christians a day are killed by who I wonder? He mentions Turkey. Perhaps we should kick Turkey from NATO?
“I think that was a magnificent speech.
Why has no president done this before”?
And it’s extremely maddening that most of the media will never even show it. I saw it on Fox.
May the media suffer greatly for what they’ve done to our country.
Interesting this bit about the private sector. Will be interesting because I know of a company that punished employees for not wearing a ribbon in support of gay rights (albeit it was in Canada) but I’m sure there are American examples.
Amen.
As the President says, the media are the enemy of America.
Yes, heard him say that about getting the Private Sector involved.
So, there must be some American companies out there who have not bowed down to the leftist agenda of today’s persecutors in America.
Greatest. President. EVER!
The media is the cause of ALL our problems, ALL of them. What we have is a free country with a Goebbels type media that deceives, lies to and cons the naive and as a result we have corruption and a government that no longer represents the people but special interests, the mega rich and the politician. This is why Trump gets so much heat, because he is a huge threat to that and it’s amazing what he has accomplished despite that.
