Teenagers have been bursting into the conversation surrounding climate change passionately advocating for the planet and their future living on it. But this college student is making her activism even more personal by pledging not to have children until leaders take action.
Canadian teen Emma Lim told CBS News she made the decision a few months ago not to have children in the future due to the climate crisis. "Because even though I want to have children more than almost anything, what kind of a mother would I be if I brought a baby into a world where I couldn't make sure they were safe?" she wrote on her website.
From there, she and a friend decided to create a website where others could "pledge" not to have kids as well, creating the hashtag #NoFutureNoChildren.

As long as they are part of the Cyrus/Swift Same Sex Fad Fan Club, they don’t have to worry about having children. They should have taken some science classes in school. One does not learn much about biology at Swift/Cyrus concerts.
Who cares?
Climate Change? The 4 Seasons. End of Story.
Fine by me. The stupid, easily led folks won’t reproduce their stupidity. Hopefully, the sensible teens will eventually marry and step up to the plate to give us some fine wholesome sensible offspring.
“...Teens pledge not to have kids without action on climate change...”
Is that a promise? How about not ha8ng any one way or another?
if they’re really serious about this, then the female pledges should get their tubes tied ... promises made, promises kept ...
My wife and I had two kids, when she was 27 and 29 YO. Right before she hit 40, the clock hit again in a big way. This time around, it took us nearly 3 years to conceive, and the last 12 months were difficult, i.e. finger pointing everywhere.
Becoming a dad again at 48 was never in my plan, raising kids is meant for younger parents. He's now 17, and a senior in HS. We're quite a contrast to most of the parents who are in their 40s.
No regrets, of course. IMO, a woman's biological clock is the second most powerful force in the universe, right behind compound interest. A man's sex drive comes in a distant third IMO.
So said a good friend at that age. She was the first of her four siblings to marry. Sadly, she is infertile due to health issues. As soon as her husband finishes graduate school, they plan to adopt. Shes in her early 30s.
EXCELLENT! Weed out the gene pool!
You forgot China.

I expect her to go the same way. I think 23 seems old to me because I had my daughter at 19. Kids today aren’t as mature as we were at 19. She still has plenty of time to change her mind.
More kids?
Africa? Nah, go to Iran or Afghanistan. Tell THEM not to have kids and why they should not have kids.
Darwinning!
My daughter was required to watch The Gore Movie 4 times while attending high school.
Oh good. So the only children of the next generations will be born of normal people, not psycho lefties? Sort of like self extinction.
Bernie and Warren will take all their money so children wont be possible anyway.
If they can give Obama and Al Gore Nobel Peace Prizes, surely we can give Emma a Darwin Award.
Teens pledge not to have kids, however with their logic it’s called a blessing.
