Sen. Kamala D. Harris hit the panic button Thursday on her free-falling campaign, announcing an Iowa-or-bust strategy that she hopes will put her on an Obama-like glide to the nomination.
She also raised the stakes by vowing to quit the race if she can’t muster a win, place or show in the Hawkeye State’s leadoff caucuses Feb. 3.
“We want to make sure that we have a strong top-three finish,” said Harris campaign manager Juan Rodriguez. “I think that will kind of continue to give us a slingshot to go into that early primary state calendar and then make sure that we’re also competitive heading into Super Tuesday.”

Ironically, California may not authorize her to go to Iowa. Even though Harris is “officially” on her dime, California created a law prohibiting state “and government” officials, students, and other state-financed organizations from attending any activity based in Iowa (among other states), because they don’t allow child molesters and sex offenders into little girls’ restrooms.
Yes, it sounds ludicrous, but since when is Dem logic logical?
Federal office holders do not in any way answer to their state governments at all. Senators do not get money or orders from state government.
I thought she’d do better and I’m sad she hasn’t. The more clowns that stay in the car, the better. Once one begins to pull away, he or she gains stature that can only hurt our PDJT.
She is a California Senator. By CA state law she cannot travel to Iowa. There is a large fine attached and possible jail time for any CA employee that travels to a proscribed state.
Mean and nasty is running 5th in her own state of Calif.

Here in eastern Iowa, the fools do tend to predominate. Harris' biggest problem is that too many of these fools are committed Berniebots.
If she “moves to f’ing Iowa” the STD rate will double overnight.

especially now after he’s pretty much been exposed (or has exposed himself, so to speak) ... for the anti-American communist he really is.
We might have expected some support for him in Ames (at the university campus..given how some colleges are so screwed up) but not in the rest of Iowa
