If Democrat Senator, Ms. Kyrsten Sinema has any “street” brains , she will immediately notify Majority Leader, Republican, Mitch McConnell that she is changing her party affiliation from being a Democrat to being a Republican...like right now!!!

The Democrat Party is holding a vote to censure Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema because they perceive her moderate stances and voting habits as too friendly towards President Donald Trump... in fact, she has opposed Trump 81 percent of the time... Dan O'Neal, state coordinator for Progressive Democrats of America, told the Arizona Republic... "But the way she is voting is really disappointing. We want Democrats to vote like Democrats and not Republicans."

I wrote her about the shooting in Texas and asked her not to be stampeded by the anti-gun crowd. This is part of her response:

"In Congress, both parties are responsible for forging a productive conversation surrounding firearms. As you know, the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees the rights of Americans to keep and bear arms, and I support those rights. I also believe there are commonsense actions we can take to increase safety and prevent needless deaths. We can protect the rights of Americans to own and use firearms while establishing policies that keep guns out of the hands of people who are violent felons or dangerously mentally ill. I support legislation to expand mental health first aid training for first responders and school staff. I cosponsored legislation backing scientific research to help understand and reduce the causes of gun violence in our country. I believe that empowering family members and sworn law enforcement who recognize potentially dangerous behavior to act through a court of law can help prevent violence while ensuring due process for Arizonans. I am a cosponsor of S. 265, the Threat Assessment, Prevention, and Safety Act, which would develop a national strategy for preventing targeted violence and help ensure that state and local law enforcement have the same resources used by federal agencies like the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Secret Service for identifying and preventing violence. Finally, I have supported bipartisan legislation expanding the current background check system to cover firearm sales by licensed and unlicensed dealers."

I replied that "commonsense" was a leftist control-the-dialogue gimmick - if you do not agree with them, you don't have "commonsense", that the Red Flag law she proposed was unconstitutional and the background check was backdoor national gun registration.

Haven't heard back after three days.
