The update included the significant detail that several friends of the alleged victim said she did not recall the purported sexual assault in question at all. The Times also stated for the first time that the alleged victim refused to be interviewed, and has made no other comment about the episode.
The only firsthand account concerning the supposed attack in the original piece, which was published on Saturday, came from a Clinton-connected lawyer who claimed to have witnessed it. (The lawyer, Max Stier, did not actually provide his account directly; the Times acknowledged that "two officials who have communicated with Mr. Stier" had relayed his supposed version of events.)
Where is the accountability for the NYT? If they can do this to Kavanaugh, they can do this to YOU TOO! Amazing to think that before Trump, nobody would even try to challenge stories from the NYT and the rest of the Fake News enterprise (aka, Lame Stream Media).
we just had a major coup attempt on our duly elected President of the United states by leaders of the FBI, DOJ, and possible the past President, etc. and now they want to take confiscate our weapons (by force) that are necessary and provided by our Constitution to protect us from a tyrannical government.

I take "Beto's threat as a terroristic threat to overturn the Constitution of the USA and use our government as a tool of violence in a seditious manner to violate our civil, constitutional and natural rights. So FBI start investigating the real terrorists, crazy politicians, out of control govt employees, not peaceful citizens. The NYT wouldn’t have pressed forward with this trash that could be so easily torpedoed. This had to have been a surprise to them too.

The way it was heading, until this over-reach, is a situation where the winner of the Supreme Court or an NFL team will be who can get the most of the opposition side taken down by unsubstantiated allegations.
Add to that, Julian Castro and some of the other crazies on that stage. Suspicion of owning a gun would give cause for search warrants and your house stormed.
