A weekend drone attack on Saudi Arabia that cut into global energy supplies and halved the kingdoms oil production threatened Sunday to fuel a regional crisis, as the U.S. released new evidence to back up its allegation that Iran was responsible for the assault amid heightened tensions over Tehrans collapsing nuclear deal.
President Donald Trump said the U.S. had reason to believe it knew who was behind the attack his secretary of state had blamed Iran the previous day and assured his Twitter followers that we are ... locked and loaded depending on verification and were waiting to hear from the Saudis as to who they believe was behind the attack and under what terms we would proceed!

We heard for years that they are all underground to protect them. The problem is they have to get from the surface to the facilities. Just bomb the shit out of the above ground parts and cut them off underground. Unless they got away to survive for any length of time then their top people will all be dead in very short order.
So what are you referring to? Since its been a while, am I to take it that you are the type to hold grudges and anger? That's not healthy you know.
You're saying the U.S. should mount a military campaign in some Islamic dump in the Middle East because WE haven't been prudent and responsible enough to develop our own extraction and refining capacity here in the U.S.?
You must be kidding.
The Saudis buy American planes. The Saudis have acquisition offices on American bases. The Saudis fly American planes. Let them fly.

I’ve been reading all of your responses and you sound like you have all of the answers. So what is your answer as to why we haven’t been able to extract oil from our soil for the past 50 years, which includes republican controlled congress and senate and presidency? What’s your reason why our refinery capacity is so limited that every time we have an industrial accident or natural weather disaster that our oil prices spike! Here’s 2 reasons,:1) NIMBYism and the environmental movement and : 2)is to keep us tied to a global oil market. It sucks but that is the truth of the matter. So Mr. Answer Man, how are you going to stop oil prices from spiking? Sprinkle some of your magic pixie dust on it and forget it ever happened? Iranian oil does not flow into the free market supply, and who even said we would bomb the Iranian oil fields to begin with?
None of these other countries will do a damn thing about it and all of their economies are already shit, so they’ll just take it with another grain of salt.
I didn’t say to do to anything. I just responded to the potential reason as to why to respond militarily. So go blow smoke up some else’s ass
How about let's start by putting those restrictions back in place.
If we have reached a point where we feel a need to make U.S. military commitments in Third World dumps all over the globe, then let's REALLY treat oil as a commodity that is essential to our existence as a nation.
1)F*** Off A**hole!
2)We are locked and loaded.
3)Oh shit! that was unexpected!
4)We DGAF what you all do over there.
5)We will form a committee and discuss the possibilities and ramifications of all possible scenarios, then produce a paper to submit to the congress, then the voting public for approval prior to any action.
Feel free to remind me of other appropriate responses.
It seems he picked out the best option initially.
What the president does next is his decision, and I, for one, trust him to(for the umpteenth time) make correct decisions that have the USA interests first and foremost.
We can even send John Kerry over to these places with a giant hose so he can start sucking the oil out of the ground himself ... just to get the flow started.
Let them fight their own battles. We can support with arms, but we shouldn’t do anything with our planes, ships or troops.
I’ve seen many Huff Po people at Yahoo - “Jesus isn’t real” - “Jesus is gay” - “the Bible is a myth”.
Yes, the Rock does indeed cause offense.
60 Minutes.
Lol.
It would be absolutely crazy to send a message to Iran that they can do whatever they want. That would lead to a permanent increase in oil prices.
The increase in oil prices in the 1st Iraq war only during the build up period. Once it became apparent we were winning handily oil prices plummeted.
Any military action should be air strikes only.
His about oil prices in the 2ND Iraq war? They peaked at $145 ... 5 years after that stupid Mission Accomplished charade.
The 2000s commodities boom or the 'commodities super cycle'[1] was the rise, and fall, of many physical commodity prices (such as those of food, oil, metals, chemicals, fuels and the like) during the early 21st century (20002014),[2] following the Great Commodities Depression of the 1980s and 1990s. The boom was largely due to the rising demand from emerging markets such as the BRIC countries, particularly China during the period from 1992 to 2013,[2] as well as the result of concerns over long-term supply availability.
We are currently in a battle for soul and the future of America as we know it. If you cant support that, and stand by and TRUST our President, then you might as well be fighting for the other side.
Were so far past that its laughable. Run along and play with the rest of your RINO Never Trump friends. He and his real supporters dont need/want you.
I fully agree with that. I have no interest in the soul and the future of Saudi Arabia as we know it.
Run along and play with the rest of your RINO Never Trump friends. He and his real supporters dont need/want you.
RINO? LOL. The "RINOs" are the ones who have been bought and owned by the Saudis for years, dude.
#MAGA
Did rising demand from those emerging markets slow down after 2013?
Commodity prices as measured in U.S. dollars escalated rapidly in the mid-2000s because our government took two key steps that undermined the value of the U.S. dollar:
1. Interest rates were kept artificially low.
2. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were financed through off-budget appropriations, including massive unknown quantities of paper currency that was literally shipped in pallets to the Middle East and used to bribe tribal leaders and pay U.S. contractors.
Not our circus, not our monkeys, not worth one taxpayer cent to even deal with.
We have enough oil for ourselves, that is the only legitimate business of our military, defending our borders.
Let the entire middle east blow itself up, not worth a drop of American blood to prevent.
