Top 2020 Democratic contenders Kamala Harris and Julian Castro announced on Sunday that Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh "must be impeached," after a new, uncorroborated and disputed allegation of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh surfaced in a New York Times piece.

Nevertheless, Democrats announced a new effort to topple Kavanaugh. Impeaching Kavanaugh would require a majority vote in the Democratic-controlled House, and a highly unlikely two-thirds vote in the GOP-majority Senate would then be needed to remove him from the bench.
"I sat through those hearings," Harris wrote on Twitter. "Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people. He was put on the Court through a sham process and his place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice. He must be impeached."
During the hearings, Harris strongly implied that she knew Kavanaugh had improperly discussed Special Counsel Robert Mueller's then-ongoing probe with a Trump-connected lawyer.
Harris provided no evidence for the bombshell insinuation, which went viral on social media and sent the hearing room into stunned silence, even as she directly accused Kavanaugh of lying under oath.
Castro echoed that sentiment and said Kavanaugh had committed perjury.
"It’s more clear than ever that Brett Kavanaugh lied under oath," Castro wrote. "He should be impeached. And Congress should review the failure of the Department of Justice to properly investigate the matter."

Perhaps, but to Mitt’s credit, and that of most RINOs, they have treated Trump’s judges well. It may be simply because Trump’s picks are good and going against them to punish Trump is simply childish...who knows?
It’s the seriousness of the charge, not the evidence that it’s true that is paramount.

Of course, as US Court of Appeals judge and then as a US Supreme Court justice, he had all that top secret info from the Mueller investigation.
Is Harris saying a couple of lawyers can’t talk about a case or is she saying that somehow he interfered with Mueller’s probe?
So far it looks like Kavanaugh is going to turn out to be a squish. A guy who acts like he’s embarrassed by conservatism.

Partly true, but also they need to find a way to force him to recuse from the “sex” cases before the court, specifically the trans case. If they can get him recused “because he is under a cloud of impeachment” then they must know they have the four votes to uphold the lower court/EEOC decisions causing a tie at the USSC, which means that the lower court decisions win, (just as happened with the 5th circuits DAPA decision).
Do it, House. Let the trial be going on next October.

As: media lays groundwork with the groundwork with the same phrases "a democracy like ours doesn't need an electoral college" or "a woman should be respected in her right to choose what happens to her own body." "Innocent children shouldn't die by combat ready military AR weapons available to anyone without questions asked." Then several Dem Washington leaders say the same things and bills appear,judges make rulings in CA and OR and the GOP is caught off guard and behind the game in the polls.
IF RBG's impending demise is behind this ploy then where are the GOP strategy experts on this? Idea: if true that this is slander and the old one with Ford was a conspiracy based on a ditzy brained woman's hazy memories, then can't someone attack the slanderers now?
Nobody, even Ford’s most loyal friends, would corroborate her. She scrubbed her social media of leftist activism before contacting Pelosi, and contradicted herself during the hearings.
