Sen. Kamala Harris' debate performance on Thursday fails to impress many of her party's big money donors and fails to win over some financiers who were on the fence about her candidacy... One source said Friday they had been having trouble persuading their donors to back her candidacy before the debate. The negative opinion didn't change after the debate. "I don't think anything has changed, and it's been grim," this person said.

“This may come down to a contest between 2 old white guys.”
Great. Trump would be the young’un. I’m sure he could create some interesting Twitter noise with that to work with.

Abrams has no visual appeal. She is also a whiny loser propped up only by the MSM.

I never considered Clinton making another run before she keels over permanently, but it is possible that Harris is running to make Clintons personality, likability and even appearance sparkle in contrast to Harriss.

As a woman, and this is dangerous to admit, but, with few exceptions, women tend to be especially poor at politics. Marsha Blackburn, Joni Ernst, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders notwithstanding, it's just not in most women's natural skill set to bring large numbers of people together for the civic good. Most of the women in politics are ego maniacs with poor ethics. (That's probably true of most men, too, but there are more men who have true skills and stamina for national leadership.) It's not about intellect, but something more about the way leadership is done. Women are pretty good at small groups, but it just doesn't translate well at a national level. Besides that, stamina is really critical in a campaign and in the White House, and men do that much better.

Her scripted attempts at humor, clearly calculated beforehand to make the news cycle with a “zinger”, all fell flat.

Kamala got bitch-slapped when Di/Fi agreed to hold a high-level fund raiser for Biden and not the Cali candidate Kamala.
Course the buzz is Di/Fi decided to assist Biden b/c she cant wait to meet Hunter Biden in person.
