(Moderator, if I can't excerpt the BBC, please note)
Drone attacks have set alight two major oil facilities run by the state-owned company Aramco in Saudi Arabia, state media say.
Footage showed a huge blaze at Abqaiq, site of Aramco's largest oil processing plant, while a second drone attack started fires in the Khurais oilfield.
The fires are now under control at both facilities, state media said.
A spokesman for the Iran-aligned Houthi group in Yemen said it had deployed 10 drones in the attacks.
The military spokesman, Yahya Sarea, told al-Masirah TV, which is owned by the Houthi movement and is based in Beirut, that further attacks could be expected in the future.
He said Saturday's attack was one of the biggest operations the Houthi forces had undertaken inside Saudi Arabia and was carried out in "co-operation with the honourable people inside the kingdom".

The guy yelling at the end is classic.
A part of Saudi Arabia is on fire? Good. Congress recently passed along a lot of our borrowed money to those first responders “hurt” in 9/11. What should have happened is that the Saudi’s should have paid that.
I guess our gas prices will go up. Oh, wait, we aren’t dependent on the Saudi’s like we used to be:)
Question. If the Saudi’s start to have cash flow problems will the checks sent to the Bush family and other American politicians stop?
You did not.
You asked Israel and Saudi to take care of it...
Houthi’s. Sponsored by Iran.
Seems the answer is to have security patrolling the skies around major assets, not just refineries, and blast the drones before they get close enough to drop their load. I hope this is at least being considered for major US assets as well.
We could. We won't.
It's the Soddy's problem.
Besides, burning the cat's paw doesn't stop the monkey from monkeying around.
The Saudis had to get the money back that the Clintons bilked them out of (pay for play, Clinton Foundation, etc.) somehow.
ebay.
Iranian aggression......
Well DUH!!! They're "Our dear friends, the Saudis."!
I love waking up to great news.
They are all terrorists, who do we root for?
There are no good guys. They’re muslims. The US should act in it’s best interest but our globalist rulers may have different ideas.
It will likely be good news anyways.
Although two coil and tube outfits pulled out of Canada.
I keep on trucking, but this election is going to have big consequences. It’s time to get out.
As for Saudi Arabia, it can all go up in smoke.
Are you kidding? Under their policies, we’d be free of fossil fuels entirely, powered by sunshine and gentle breezes.
Somebody is really agitating for more war.
Anyone else remembering Hillary and Obama rattling the saber for war with Russia?
Gas prices will be up, I guess
I would give the odds of that at about the same as the Sun rising tomorrow.
The US is basically energy sufficient and is now exporting oil. Losing Saudi production might benefit us as it opens the market to more exports. Ironic that most of the Democrat candidates would kill our oil and gas energy and kill our economy.
If it’s that easy to make things go boom using drones there are plenty of similar targets here in the US and the only defense is Law Enforcement and the NSA.
Would I be wrong in saying our intelligence would know from where these were sourced? Could we not take out these installations in Yemin?
We could. We won’t.
It’s the Soddy’s problem.

...
I’d tend to agree; we can at least tell them who did it and point them firmly in the right direction. I’m sure who did it knows the price of our oil and thus gas has dropped $.50/gallon in the past few weeks.
New tagline...
