U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu has recommended moving forward with charges against Andrew McCabe, Fox News has learned, as the Justice Department rejects a last-ditch appeal from the former top FBI official.
McCabe appealed the decision of the U.S. attorney for Washington all the way up to the deputy attorney general, but the department rejected that request, according to a person familiar with the situation.

Not in this case. It has to do with a fairly narrow set of charges having to do with his lying to internal investigators in connection with an internal leaki investigation. However, it is a start and he’s the first Deep State actor to be indicted. It shows Barr may actually be serious about dealing with this whole mess.
My belief that McCabe would skate with a D.C. jury has nothing to do with race.
It’s the fact that D.C. is a company town. Everybody’s livelihood depends on the Swamp continuing to thrive and employ them all in overpaid Federal jobs with money they’ve stolen from the rest of us.
It’s simple economics.
They use small crime charges to get cooperation on larger ones...................

Makes me wonder how in DC they find a jury composed of the accused peers. Seems unlikely it will be made up of former FBI agents. Last I knew DC was predominately black.

Either this coup attempt is a fiction and we are all crazy (not the case)
or else this was a vast conspiracy involving multiple agencies in multiple countries. This is a RICO case. You can't just say, "McCabe was a bad apple, and I guess we're done here."
That just won't work. This is either Nothing, or else it's Very Very Big.

Any average citizen doesn’t have the luxury of such a process.
“Liu is a snake. She is playing politics. She first declined to prosecute, kicked it upstairs, they came back and said his appeal is a no-go and now she’s falling in line.”
Agreed. Her history indicates that she would have preferred to not prosecute this case. Kudos to Attorney General Bill Barr.
