It's been 18 years since 9/11. Children born on that tragic day are old enough to serve and fight in America's longest war. In New York City, there are 13 members of next graduating class from the Fire Academy who lost their fathers in the destruction of the World Trade Center, according to the New York Post.
For many Americans there is an absence of memory about 9/11 -- but for others it persists because of the memory of absence.

When you are manufacturing a crisis, and fiction is your best tool, you wouldn’t even forgo the temptation to exploit a day like September 11th to build it up.

I’m willing to give them this one. From their perpective armed whites ARE the biggest threat to their ambitions. We damned well better be!

I did a lot of channel-flipping yesterday, and I caught quite a few local 9/11 memorial stories. Now here’s the thing. None of them mentioned who or what was behind the attacks.
So if you didn’t know any better, you’d think that those buildings were destroyed by an accidental fire, or something like that.
Unbelievable! We are so cowed as a nation that nobody will say a bad word about Islam. CAIR is winning everywhere, even in the US Army War College.
We have enemy moslems in Congress working to destroy us and our Constitution.
The enemy invaders have taken over entire towns.
It’s so bad that CNN and most of the media have ginned up a phony enemy “white nationalism.” Now, 18 years later, the ultimate crime is just being born with white skin. The POCs have learned how to leverage 9/11 to make being white a crime.
I doubt that even a single editorial in the entire nation yesterday even whispered “moslem” or “Islam.”
If we don’t right this badly listing ship, 9/11 is going to be the event that sunk our nation.

I posted the editorial from the Coeur d’Alene Press yesterday and made that exact point. Everywhere it was nothing more than weepy, maudlin “never forget” garbage that were in the vein of “some people did something.” In many places it was far worse, like the NYT where “some planes flew into the towers.”
What is it, exactly, that we are supposed to “Never forget”?
Muslims are inherently violent.
My grandson is in the 3rd grade, he’s been to the principal’s office 5 times in the last 3 years; every time it was for exercising his right of self defense. Every time it’s been a muz kid hitting him on the back of the head or punching him; and every time he’s used what he learned in karate class to stop the attacks. Muzzies will attack but they don’t like being hit back, especially when it involves receiving a karate kick to the mouth.
Maybe Israel was checking for terrorists at the White House..?

Correct. I will never, ever, forget the instant divide it created (I lived in semi-metro California). It redefined who we, as both individuals and as a nation, were. As a Moderate sort back then (I still think I am, but society disagrees...), I shifted instantly to High Alert, and was awaiting a declaration of war, to be followed by turning some major areas of the ME into glass. Others pondered the motives of those who had attacked us; perhaps it was OUR fault! Good Lord. The weeks that followed revealed much about the community I was living in. The chasm was very deep, and very wide, and it has not changed since; either you understand, appreciate, and love with all your life this gift God has given us, or you don’t.
