Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin mocked CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta during Tuesday’s press briefing for asking a “ridiculous” question.
Reporters shouted over each other as Mnuchin and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo addressed the media and Acosta was told to “go ahead” with his question.
“Is this national security team a mess?” Acosta asked, referring to Tuesday morning’s exit of the Trump administration's third national security adviser, John Bolton.
“Absolutely not. That’s the most ridiculous question I’ve ever heard of,” Mnuchin fired back.
“The national security team, which is what you asked, consists of the national security adviser, the secretary of defense, the secretary of state, myself, the chief of staff and many others,” Mnuchin added.

CNN plays right into Trump's hands -- conservatives who think Trump could have handled Bolton's resignation like a resignation, see Acosta act like a rabid clown and are reminded that the #MSM is running a war against Trump, and Bolton will be forgotten in a week.
I never thought I could hate Fredo Acosta more than I did. I was wrong.
Good for Mnuchin, put the CNN guy in his place, instead of answering his outrageous statement.
Team Trump, make this your boiler plate answer to every Jim Acosta or CNN question: “That’s the most ridiculous question I’ve ever heard!”
Poor Abilio...can’t even ask intelligent questions, he is such a hack.
They should answer every Acosta question with “You’re an idiot!” ...........
Someone at the WH ought to buy a huge pacifier and give it to Acosta during a press briefing

There is NO “most ridiculous question” because there is no lower limit to the idiocy of that crowd of clowns.
Oh well, what else an one do when one has no discernible talent save for preening in front of a tv camera and pretending to be sentient.
