President Donald Trump announced on Twitter that he fired John Bolton, his national security advisor, in a stunning move Tuesday that apparently took Bolton himself by surprise.
“I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House,” Trump wrote on in a harshly worded tweet, citing disagreements over policy.
Bolton offered a different story in his own tweet, claiming that he had offered on Monday night to resign but Trump brushed him off.
“I offered to resign last night and President Trump said, ‘Let’s talk about it tomorrow,'” Bolton wrote.

Everyone knows that in positions like yours, the president can simply ask for your resignation. People don’t really see a big difference between resigning and being fired for that reason.

This whole thing is really too bad. And Bolton’s departure could and should have been handled much better by both of them.

John apparently misheard President Trump’s words. He said Well I’ll announce it tomorrow. 8>)
Well, let’s see. Trump is still president and Bolton is out of a job. I think I’ll go with Trump’s version of events.
It’s more reliable than the New York Times and has gotten fewer millions of Americans killed.
That is why I always have questions about what sort of mindset a person who criticizes a place like Mediaite yet doesn’t equally as often criticize the New York Times really have.
Because that agenda is openly there, they cannot possibly post that way if it is not.
