I smoked for 30 years and was able to quit 2 years ago because of e-cigs, my thoughts on this are these kids are mixing something in these vape pens that is causing this crap!!! I am getting SO SICK of this crap a few lunatics go off the rails with guns and WE ALL suffer, a few people use vape pens in the wrong way and WE ALL suffer what the HELL happened to personal responsibility in this DAMN COUNTRY!!! The government has to jump into EVERY damn part of our lives!!!
A good friend’s son started smoking early - 18-19 years old.
The kid is now married, with a new baby. He’s now at 27 years old. He started vaping as a replacement for cigarettes 6 months ago. He’s steadily dialed down the nicotine, exercising more, more energy, looking healthy and fit. He’s an even better husband and father now.
Vaping has been a blessing to him and his new family.

Vape companies are a HUGE THREAT to the TOBACCO INDUSTRY. Do the math. I know Phillip Morris (now ALTRIA) OWNS 35% of Juul but perhaps this is an economic power struggle between team vape and team tobacco!

Yes, and also a threat to the revenues of the 48 states who participated in the 1998 settlement with the tobacco companies. Smokers are switching to vaping at record rates and these states are losing money.

Users-by-choice of any potentially harmful substance get little sympathy from me, if they knew the risks up front. But the Vape pushers have lied that it is a safe alternative to smoking, fooling many. Now the word is out, no more excuses.

Where do the Vape companies get their nicotine, if not from the tobacco industry? It's only become a two-headed monster.
Talking with some of my OLD [in every sense of the word ;-) ] friends in CA, they swear by the legal THC vape pens & cartridges they can buy there. An interesting thing that they have noted is that a lot of the black market dealers are still selling like nothing happened.
The legal shops have to obey all the maryjane regs AND all of the ‘usual’ CA business regulations. The underground dealers will sell to those under 21, often have just as good a product as the legal places, and can sell for cheaper. There is still a lot of black market dope that gets sold in ‘legal’ (read: REGULATED) states.
