A sixth American has died after developing a severe vaping, related lung illness, Kansas officials reported Tuesday.
The American Medical Association on Monday urged Americans to stop using electronic cigarettes of any sort until scientists have a better handle on the cause of 450 lung illnesses and at least five deaths related to the use of the products.
The AMA, one of the nation's most influential physician groups, also called on doctors to inform patients about the dangers of e-cigarettes.
They want physicians to make sure their patients are are aware of the devices' potential toxins and carcinogens, and to swiftly report any suspected cases of lung illness associated with e-cigarette use to their state or local health department.
The recommendation followed advice from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday for people to consider not using e-cigarette products while it investigates the cause of the spate of severe lung illnesses associated with vaping

The media pushed vaping because they hated smokers, now they're going nuts of 6 deaths in a country of 330,000,000. Wait until they find out how many people die from smoking non-filtered marijuana that they are cheerleading to legalize.

Vaping is very economical
A person smokes for 40 years and spends tens of thousands of dollars in cigarettes before they get terminal lung cancer.
A person spends 20 bucks, vapes for a week and drops dead.
The pussy-factor in America these days is truly astonishing. So a few people died? People die every day. Life is a terminal condition.
So when the MCAS planes dropped out of the sky did they recommend no one fly on planes or just the ones with MCAS?
If the prob was vaping in general we would’ve seen this earlier. Sounds like it’s something new in the vape world, perhaps even a defective batch of a particular product.
Yup. Remember 50 or so years ago when they had MD’s touting the benefits of smoking and now........... So, in 50 years will the same proponents of marijuana reveal what a disasterous thing it was to legalize it? Just wonderin’. You know, long term detrimental side effects of using?
What is not being reported, is that most, if not all of these cases, the victims reported vaping from vape pens bought off the street, i.e. black market.

When I was a kid, we all vaped. Our mothers would rub it all over our chest when we had nasty coughs...
It’s actually the vitamin e acetate that makers of illegal THC vape cartridges started using in May of this year.
Pure THC would get you plenty stoned, but it does not leave an oily residue in your lungs to build up over a days and weeks...
