Sen. Ted Cruz urged conservatives to "lighten up" ahead of 2020 in response to "rage" from those on the Left.
"The Left right now, they’re so consumed with rage," the Texas Republican said last weekend at the Faith, Family, and Freedom forum, according to the Houston Chronicle. "They hate the president. It is all-consuming, it’s all they can see. As conservatives, let’s not respond to that. Like, just lighten up. Just have some fun."
"When one party is going nuts, we gotta respond with joy, we gotta respond with smiles," he added.

The other day I told a Liberal in a very friendly way “You need to lighten up. It’s not healthy. When you love your children and their future more than you hate Trump you’ll feel much better”.
Because that’s worked so well over the last half century.
The school system is nearly completely destroyed.
Our governance system is nearly completely destroyed.
Many of our cities are literally s**tholes.
Etc, so on, so forth...
so yeah. Lets just keep politely smiling at it all and pretend that works.
True! To involve yourself with Liberals at THAT level will only seem to validate them and their BS.
To debate them when they do that stuff will make us appear JUST as lunatic, immature and desperate.

I make idle comments like that at every opportunity and it can be done in such a way that they’d never suspect I was a conservative. At least, it makes them think.
